Home and sore!

Hi All! I got home today around 1:30pm EST. So far, I have some gas pain but only in the tummy area and I feel like I did 300 tummy crunches. It is not a stabbing pain, just a constant ache. They sent me home with pain pills to take, so I'm cutting them in half. I know this will only last while my tummy is swolen, but it is really strange to eat a few bites of broth and a few more of jello and be full! WOW! Can't wait to start really working my band and feeling better. I'm off to get some ... Pam

Great to know your home and doing well. Take it easy and follow drs. instructions and all will be fine. Now your on the way to the losing side! I'm going Dec 7 for RNY and I'm getting the gitters. Stay well, Arleigh

I'm so glad you are home and doing okay. I wish you the best on the recovering process. I have my surgery this Tuesday, 12-7-2004. I'm glad to hear that it is an acheing pain and not a stabbing pain. May God comfort and watch over you. Rose

Hi Glad to hear that all went well. That's is exactly how I desribed it, "like I did 1,000 sit-ups." My name is also Pam (from CT). I had my surgery on 12-1. Maybe we could chat sometime and compare notes. lol
