ALL DECEMBER 6TH SURGERIES !

HERE WE ARE JUST A FEW DAYS FROM SURGERY. MY INSIDES ARE JUST JUMPING FOR JOY! MOSTLY I AM VERY VERY EXCITED ABOUT MY NEW LIFE... AND MAYBE A FEW BUTTERFLIES IN MY TUMMY ABOUT THE SURGERY. I HAVE HAD AND IDEA WHY DON'T ALL OF US THAT ARE HAVING SURGERY ON DECEMBER 6TH.... MAKE A DEAL THAT WHEN WE GET HOME AND ARE UP TO IT WE START CONTACTING EACH OTHER. WE CAN DO THAT IF YOU HAVE RESPONDED TO THIS POST SO WE KNOW WHO WE ARE I THINK THAT HAVING THE SAME DATE WILL GIVE US ALL ABOUT THE SAME TIME FRAME OF DOING THINGS AS OUR EATING PROGRESSES AND WE CAN REALLY ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER. SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED LET ME KNOW... BECAUSE I AM DANCING FOR JOY ABOUT MY NEW LIFE!

Hi Bonn, Well, mine is not the 6th, but it is the day afterward. And, count me in on that idea...sounds great to me! I think I have run the gamut of every emotion possible, actually. Hi BonBon! I've run through all the emotions, and now I'm just at peace, hoping that my appointment tomorrow with my PCP for my pre-op physical goes well and I get the green light to go ahead with surgery. If they do this lap, I'll be home within 24 hours. I'll post on the board as soon as I can! Happy Rebirthday to all the December Melting Snowflakes, and to all the 12/6/04 surgery dates!!! Hi BonBon, This is a great idea. I am very nervous about the surgery. This is the third time that the surgery has been planned. The last date was Nov 5 and we had to cancel due to my white bllod count being inexplicably high. I had to go to a hematologist and be tested for Leukemia, as if the surgery wasn't stressful enough! Now I just can't wait to get it over with! I am looking forward to the days when I have some relief from the arthritic pains in my knees and ankles. I have really bee isolating myself and I know that this saddens my husband as he really enjoys my company. I look forward to communicating with you an others. Sue

Hello! I'm Dec 6 also and I am so Happy For everyone getting surgery I have so much faith that all will go good. I have a pre-op exam with my PCP today also. I hope everything is good. I thinks its a great idea too keep in contact with all the wonderful people having surgery on Dec 6, so count me in! You are all in my prayers -Claudia

Count me in, I thought I was the only one that has the jitters!!! I am scared but I can't turn back. I came to far, so therefore, I putting it in God's hand. Best-wishes to everyone.

Hey Everyone!! Congratulations on all Surgeries this month and especially all the Dec 6th ones! I have been very nervous and anxious but trying not to show it!! I guess I'm afraid family members will try and talk me put of it! But NO chance!!! Its a new life for everyone of us and I can't wait to be healthy! SO LETS ALL START DANCING TOGETHER!
