Any other December 20th folks out there?

I'm scheduled for December 20 at 7:30 am at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield WI. I'll be having the lap-band. I think I'm feeling kinda numb about it. Not overly excited, or too worried. Perhaps the nerves will hit after I start the liquid diet on the 6th or as I get closer. My sister gave me the book "Eating Well after Weight Loss Surgery." The recipes in there seem pretty awesome and provide instructions for each of the types of surgeries, if they are pureeable or not. I'm looking forward to making things and freezing them before surgery so that I'm prepared. I'm currently with Humana, who has been getting tighter with approvals for WLS, and supposedly will not cover it after 12/31. They approved me in about 5 days after receiving the paperwork. Then I was excited!

Dec. 20 for me, as well. A lot of people are saying to me, "It's going to ruin your X-mas." Whatever! I am quite, quite excited!!! And there's all these little details to still tend to I've got lists regarding other lists! Take care! Maxi

hi chris, i am also having surgery in dec. the 30th to be exact, not overly thrilled but ready to get it done and over with, more nervous then anything. they put me on a diet 2mnths ago and i only lost 5pnd, yikkes! anyways goodluck with your surgery your in my prayers.
