Hi Rose, Thanks! No, Dr. Mejias is my surgeon. I live in Athens, Georgia. If you look under the names of those who are posting, you will see the city and state where they live. Sometimes, it is easy to miss, though. And, sometimes people don't indicate where they live and nothing shows up there. My surgery will be in St. Mary's Hospital in Athens. Although, we will be in different hospitals, and different cities, I will be sending my prayers up for you. Pat

Hi Pat! Yes...I'm starting to get nervous now. I feel real at peace with my decision, but I'm nervous about being cut open and all the pain that goes with it! I have my pre-op tomorrow! So far their are 3 of us having surgery on the same day. It's nice talking to everyone ahead of time and I look forward to meeting everyone after we come out of it and have our minds back! I'll be praying for us all. Dr. Vaughn is a good surgeon and I have complete confidence in him. All I've heard is good things about him. This web-site is great! Can you all believe we are 8 days out. I am NERVOUS!! But I am ready to get over to the LOSERS side. I wish you all God's blessings for a Speedy recovery and uneventful surgery.

Now 7 days out - me too, i am scheduled for the 7th. - 7 days away and not panicking, but getting jumpy...got butterflys in my tummy...
