I have a Date

I am happy to announce that I have a date for surgery on December 13, 2004, at OSU with Dr. Charlse Cook. I'm finally going to be a loser. Congratulations to everyone on this forum ... we will celebrate many anniversaries together. Best wishes to you all. Georgeann

Sister Georgie, Congulations on your date ! I pray that you have a very speedy recovery . We have the same date I will be in Fort Lauderdale Fl for mine it is that we have the same date I have going to say a prayer for you when I say my prayer for me on that day!!!

My date is also Dec. 13. I'm very nervous about the surgery and look forward to meeting some friends for support afterwards. I hope all goes well for both you and Shirley on Dec. 13. Becki

Hi Becki, Welcome to the family. I was kind of scared also but, I had to look at it this way ... I could plan for WLS or I could plan for my funeral. I had to change my way of thinking and beleive that I am going to be fine. I am trusting God for a sucessful surgery and a speedy recovery for all of us. Georgeann

God would not have ordered your steps and let you make it this far to leave you. He will be with you and making a new life possible. I have to believe that cause I'm kind of scared too, but I know this was divine intervention. Cheri

Congratulations Georgeann. We are surgery twins. Dec 13th is my date too!! I had my preop yesterday. Now I am really counting down. Only 12 more days. Girl are you ready to become a LOSER???? I am getting so excited. Tina
