DEC 7 SURGERY DATE

I just had my date handed to me this week. It is supposed to be December 7th at 7:30 AM. I am concerned about the amount of time I might have to take off from work. I am having an open RNY and someone scared me when they told me I would need at least one and 1/2 to two months to recover. Can anyone who had the open RNY give me an idea of your recovery time? Thanks

Hi I have not had surgery yet still waiting on approval but my doctor told me I would be off work 3-4 weeks with open RNY surgery. Hope this helps.
