My surgery date is 12/13/04 how long dose it take to recover Brenda

Hi Brenda! I'm having lap band surgery, which takes lots less time to recover, but my friend just had lap RNY in Sept and she was back to work with no problems after 3 weeks at home. Everyone is different, but she said that she felt great and had no problems adjusting back to work. Best of luck to you on 12/13! Pam

Hi Brenda. Congratulations, we have the same date for surgery My mother had Lap RNY in May and she took off 6 weeks. Mostly because she couldn't get her protein in early and she didn't have her energy bac****il about 3 weeks after the surgery. So it is very important to get the protein in early. I am going to do the liquid protein from GNC to start out. Tina
