Dec. 27th - Date of my surgery

Hi fellow December dates, I can't believe how fast the process is going. It hasn't even been a week since my first consult. Do you all have your pre-op tests scheduled? Good luck to everyone Nicole

Hey Nicole! I know exactly how you feel. Everything went rather quickly for me as well. As soon as I had my first consult I had a date...even before insurance approved me. I was hesitant to get my hopes up about the date at that point, but two weeks later I was approved. Within the two weeks of waiting for the official approval I had my chest X-Ray and EKG done. All I have to do now is continue monitoring my eating habits (trying to make some changes so that the transition to the after surgery way of life will be a bit easier) and have my psych evaluation.
