December 14th

I originally was scheduled for December 7th LOL I was cool with that but my second at work was called away for a conference that week. I moved it to the 14th and he cancelled his Christmas vacation. He got a free all expenses paid trip to Guatemala where he is from in late January instead. He is going as a translator for a co-workers church missionary outreach group. I will be having Distal RnY Lap with Dr. Paul Lin of the George Washington University Hospital Center in Washington, DC My wife is having the same surgery on November 9th.

Hi Donald Congrats on your date! Sounds like a bit of a pain having your date bounced around, but I'm sure it will work out. That's also really cool that you will be able to support your wife through the surgery, then she will have time to heal and turn around and do the same for you. There is a couple on the Lap Band Boards (I'm getting banded on 12/2) who had the surgery together and it is really great to see how this has brought them closer. Good luck to both you and your wife! Donald, It is too bad you had to get moved later but it is good luck that it was only a week. It sounds like you and your wife will have solved the problem many of us will face after surgery...a spouse or significant other that likes to eat and might end up sabotaging successful weight loss. My WLS is on Dec. 13th.
