I need help in finding a doctor in Toledo or someone in Ohio that will accept my insurance. Which is, Paramount Advantage HMO. I had a surgery date for Dec 3rd, Dr. Kligman was going to do the surgery, but he has cancelled all his appoinments. I found out through the support group on this site. Now I'm sad and depressed. I need help, please help me.

Vickie, I just joined this site today, but I noticed your appeal for help in finding a doc in OH. I'm sorry that I can't help you with that, but just wondered if you've asked your insurance company what bariatric surgeons they have on their approved list? That might be a good place to start. It's odd that your doctor cancelled all his appointments. Do you know why? I mean, as disappointing as this has been - perhaps it's for the best if he's having problems.
