That is sooo cool! What area of nursing do you enjoy? I'm only in my 2nd semester of 6 so I haven't decided yet but I'm pretty sure I don't want to do hospital based nursing for a long time, but I would like to gain my real experience there!

My date is the day after and I'm a nursing student!! LOL

Very cool! I see that several of us here have lots in common, that is great! I had my first appointment today with the scheduling coordinator to pay for the weight loss program, it involves all kinds of classes, materials and educational stuff. Also a few visits with a physical trainer. NEAT! What do you want to do when you get finished with Nursing school? wE are doing mother baby now, and it is pretty interesting!

I think I want to do L&D. I worked as a clerk in a hospital on the L&D floor a couple of years ago and I loved it. It was just too much working nights and going to school too! I can't imagine anything more satisfying that helping new moms bring their babies into the world.

Hi Cherokee! Sorry it took me so long to reply! I forgot to check back! :-0 I am currently the Director of Nursing in a nursing home. I have done this for awhile now...I worked for many many years in the hospital in L&D; now i have weekends and holidays off!! And no nights!! I like it too! Keep in touch! Patty
