I think some of us have problems after this surgery. I gained over 20lbs back but found out it was due to my gallbladder being infected and clogged which infected my liver so now I have liver problems. I lost 21lbs after my surgery.
Without a gallbladder the liver takes over but because my liver don't work properly I get very tired, sleep a lot and run to the bathroom a lot with number 2. I wear adult pulls at times when I have my bad days.
I stopped seeing my WLS Dr. as I was a shamed he would scold me but now I found out he is moving back to England, pout.
Your not alone my dear when it comes to problems. Some due well and others struggle. Try to think postive and get back on track.

Your not alone my dear. I take 6 different meds. everyday. They say I might have to have my liver replaced some day but I'm hoping that won't ever come.
I get tired a lot and sleep through the day which is not only hard on me but my husband.
I would like to go back to work but can't right now. All I can do is struggle to gain my health back.
Hugs Donna
Veronica,
First of all you've come back to the right place and I"m so glad that you are here. We have all had the issue of gaining, you are just like all of us. I really think you should contact your surgeon and get in and see him. There might be things that he can do or suggest that you do that might help, please consider this. I also had a hysterectomy last year and I"ve had some issues with gaining I also had a very serious case of anemia, that is what lead to my hysterctomy. Are you taking your vitamins and iron like you need? If not, get on them it really will make you feel better.
I know for me it is really important that I exercise every day and watch what I"m eating. Maybe you might want to keep a food journal; write down what you eat and why you are eating. Are you hungry or is something bothering you and you want to eat. Try and pinpoint this and find a way to make yourself feel better instead of eating. Get on the board here and reach out to others, it really does help.
Let me just tell you that I am here for you whenever you need someone and I"m sure that we all are. You are successful, just look how far you have come and you will again get there. My motto for this surgery has been "Failure is not an option" and I have lived that
Veronica you can do it and I believe in you. Get back on your protein, drink your water and get those vitamins in everyday and most of all call your surgeon and get in to see him. You are not the only person that this has happened to and he should be able to help you.
Take care,
Loni
