Hi there!

It's been awhile..... Just wanted to say Happy Annivesary to everyone.....Can't believe it's been 2 yrs... I look completely different... My life is completely different.... Im going through a divorce... I have to admit its not because of WLS but if I wouldnt have had the surgery Id still be married.... if that makes since.... I am NOT the same person as 2 yrs ago... I think Im a much healthier,happier,independent,beautiful person... My weight is stable at 185-195.... I have lost 220-230lbs... would love to have plastics but no $$$$ right now but not giving up....I have new pics of what I look like today but not for sure how you can view them i guess they are in my new profile? Hi Kelly, Sorry to hear about your marriage. I'm sure life has some new adventures in store for you. I don't think any of us stay the same after surgery, as we were before. The improved physical appearance has provided me with greater self-esteem. I, too, find myself more independent. On the inside, I am the same. Same heart and same caring style. The difference is that now I apply some of my caring to myself. I believe this is a good thing. In the words of Jawaharial Nehu: "We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have, if only we seek them with our eyes open" To that.... May you seek new adventures, with your eyes open, in 2007 ! Karen G
