Having Laser Eye Surgery on December 23rd

Hello December Surgery Buddies I decided, since I'm not done losing and not quite ready for plastic surgery, that I would treat myself to laser eye surgery for Christmas. I'm having the surgery on Saturday, December 23rd. My pre-op is Thursday, December 21st. I'm starting a new job on December 27th, with new eyes and my new body. My confidence level is really improved from what is was like when I was morbidly obese. I'm looking forward to reaching goal and having some plastics in late 2007. I will also be attending my first OH Convention this year. They are booking a convention in Toronto, in late May 2007. I'm so looking forward to being able to attend and meet some of my OH friends. Hi Karen, Congratulations!!! I am so jealous. I would love to have my eyes done and quit wearing these glasses. I have never attempted to wear contacts. Good luck and let me know how it goes. ((((hugs))) Diana

Karen, Best of luck to you with your surgery - it is very exciting. I am not courageous enough for laser eye surgery, I'll have to stick with glasses and contacts. Also, best of luck with your new job. You will starting the new year with all kinds of great new things! Take care, Mary

Thanks Mary I've been so busy getting ready for the holidays, that I haven't been online much. Tomorrow is my last day at my current job. Thursday is my laser pre-ops and Saturday is my laser surgery day. I start the new job on December 27th, right after the holidays. I am so looking forward to all of these exciting new changes.
