I am so happy, cause I just got a new job

A while back, I posted that I was streamlined out of my job. Well, life is good. I've been blessed with the offer of a new position. I'm just negotiating start dates now. I'll be leaving my long-term employer, so it will be an emotionally charged adventure. However, I am confident that I will find the new employer equally engaging. I am so happy. Many blessings !!! Karen, I am SO happy for you! I don't recall how long you were with your current employer, but I know that it is hard to leave a place you have been a long time. I was at my old company over 12 years when I left, and it was hard. It becomes a part of you after such a long time. I wish you lots of success in your new job. Take care, Mary

Hi Mary Thanks. I was at the same employer for nearly 22 years. It was definately time for a change. I was very fortunate, in that they deleted my position and offered me a great severance package. With the new job, I'll be able to pay off some bills, build up my retirement funds and save some money for PS. It is truly a God send. Have a wonderful holiday season, Karen G
