First of all Karen, YOU LOOK GREAT!!!! I didn't even recognize you at first.... WOW!!! Your meal planner looks good overall... One thing I would suggest trying is to increase your caloric intake just a bit... Sometimes if my caloric intake is too low I will sit still in weight for a long time (like I am now)... I try to do 1200 a day if possible now... Sometimes I go way over and sometimes I don't even come close to hitting it... I'm not sure what you were told by your surgeons office regarding calories/fat/etc. but I was told I should try to get 1200 in a day... I know everyone is different though... You've done great... Don't be so hard on yourself hon & NEVER compare yourself to others... I was doing that and it drove me nuts... Keep on keepin' on... You can get to where you wanna be! Chelle

Thanks Chelle. I try to keep my calories between 1000 - 1200. I rarely go over the 1200 mark. 1200 is my target, and I try to err on the side of caution. Karen G

Hi Karen! I've been craving anything that is mellon like or orange juice!!! I don't know if it's the weather or just me, but I just do. What I have been doing is try to eat what everyone else does, but I still can't eat a lot at a time. We had chinese food the other night and I took sooooo much cause it looked so good and only ate a bite of each thing. I still don't eat tuna though, for 25 years every Friday my mother would just flip over a can of white tuna onto a bed of lettuce, along with maybe some mac and cheese, and claim it was dinner. Who Knew? But I havent gained so I guess it's ok. Hugs.... Judy

I try to ea****ermelon or strawberries as my fruit. Good antioxidents in both. Watermelon is my fav. I eat "lemon pepper tuna" on wasa crispbread occassionally, for lunch. I enjoy the spiced tunas and find I don't need to add mayo to them. Whatever works for you is best. You don't want to pick a routine that you can't follow for life. Best wishes, Karen G

Yipes! You look hot! I haven't seen your updated photo in a long time and I am so jealous! I have been at an almost stand still since November. I lose and gain and lose and gain. The same 10 lbs seem to fluctuate. My Dr. told me in the beginning that goals are good but you should be aware that 90% do not reach it. Once your body loses a lot it tries very hard to keep what it has. It is a shock to your system. To be losing still is a grat tribute to you! I really want to lose 20 lbs. My friend does too. So we started today. We are not making it a goal of 20 though. Here is the deal: The one to lose the most lbs. from June 1st to July 1st wins. The winner gets treated to the spa for a facial while the other one watches the kids. Our husbands kicked in also. The winner will also get a pedicure and manicure from the husband. I woke up this morning and worked out hard. I am determined to win! I have a gym in my house and don't spend enough time in it. I plan to visit it 5 days a week now for at least an hour each day. I am going to the store to get a diary now for my weight and food and work out regime. I am hoping this will jump start me again to lose weight! I will let you know if it worked! your sister in WLS Chandi 305/197/?

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. Sounds like a great prize to win. I hope you'll post your success. Perhaps that's what I need, some incentive to work harder. Hmmm. I'll see what I can figure out. Best wishes. Good luck !!! Karen G

Thanks Kelly. I still have a way to go, but I figured it was time to post an update. Particularly now that you can do it without asking for OH to help. That's kinda cool. I had a wow moment this past week. My security access card for the office wore out and had to be replaced. Normally they just reprint from the photo on file, but the guard took one look at the photo online, then looked at me and said he wouldn't reprint the picture, as I no longer looked like that. Instead he booked me for a new photo and gave me a loaner pass. So I had my new pic taken on Wednesday and I get my new card next week. LOL Guess it must be a noticable difference. ! Karen G
