Dear Nona, I can't imagine the worry you are going through right now. I too, use food for comfort at times. The truth is, I don't buy the things that I can't resist. I bought drumsticks once and I ate one a day until they were gone. They called my name out loud! I don't really know the answer to eating when things are difficult. I know you are worried about the eating on top of everything else, but I keep thinking about you and the cysts and tumors. I would think those things would make you not feel well either. You have so much to deal with in your life all the time that I already admire you and your attitude. You seem so strong and good through it all. I thought it was good news that your grandson didn't want to go home. He loves you and wants to be with you. Your post is sad. It makes me feel sad. When are you going to go to the orthropaedic surgeon? I am praying that once you see him and are tested that it will be a weight off your shoulders and that you will be totally well. Hi Karie good luck with your surgery.I have a consult with my plastic surgeon on july 25th and I can't wait until I get this last hurdle over with.I have been so busy and this will lay me up for a few weeks i'm sure after surgery but it is something that must be done.Hope you have a great day Kerrie.........steve c

Hi there Karie, I just looked at your profile pictures. You look great. ;thumbsup: to you girl.I have been busy as most of us. You are right. We are out and about much more. We don't have all that weight to carry around anymore. I am still holding between 130-135 lbs. I came from 245 lbs. Life is wonderful. No more meds for me. No more diabetes. Let us know in 27 days how you are doing. I dont know if I will do the LBL. I am in nursing and that part of me including my arms are tight. I do have sagging breasts, butt, and ugly, ugly thighs hanging. I might consider something when money is better for me. Right now I am Ok. Keep in touch OK? Lorraine Great hearing from you.

Hi Gang...27 days til I get to bid a good farewell to that ugly tummy apron. I am excited and I sure hope I can be up and about in a timely manner. Katie, I am happy you are OK. I have a friend who just had the LBL and she too says the pain was terrible,much worse than the Gastric Bypass. I think she did it around the same time as you.
