Hi Steve, 'mornin' to you, too. I have a sore foot. I love to power walk and literally walked the skin off two of my toes. So, for the next few days, I'm going to have to skip the walking and concentrate on muscle toning. I miss the walking as it is a good de-stress-er. But, I will have to be content to do what I can until that foot heals. My Joe is afraid that if they become infected, I won't be able to have my tummy done on the 7th. He's right, as usual. Have a good one Nona

I can eat a whole sandwitch, no problem. Depending on what it on it. I usually do some meat, a slice of cheese and lettuce and a slice of tomato on low carb bread. But I can eat the entire thing. But, then I only try to eat three times a day. Can't seem to stick to the mini meals. End up eating too much. Like for lunch today, itls a cheesburger, no bun, some steamed mushrooms and onions, a few raw carrots and celery. B-fast was a pb&j low carb sandw. Supper will be chicken on the grill and a salad. It's about 1500 calories a day. Way more than most of you eat. That's why I can't get any more weight off, even with exercising every day. (Powerwalk for 45 minutes-2 miles) Nona

Hi Diane, Before surgery, my sugar was around 110, fasting, occasionally going down to around 65, making me a bit dizzy. Now, fasting, it is between 70 or 80. Never higher. Once it went down to 35. Got real sick. Nearly passed out. Good thing I was at home with Joe. He got a shake in me fast. It was right after surgery. I eat often, too often, but if I don't I get hungry. Glad the shakes helped. Low blood sugar isn't fun, is it?A real balancing act Nona

Good morning Nona Was your blood sugar levels low or did you have these dips before surgery? I go see the doctor today and hopefully get some answers. Will most likely have to get blood work done and wait for those to come in before further treatment though. My lowest blood pressure was 107/57 a week ago it was 110/58. I tried what you said about having the protein before and after working out and it did help, good advice...thanks! Have a good day, Diane
