Constipation is not usually a problem for me post WLS as it was before WLS. A cup of coffee seems to be my "remedy for regularity." I'm glad you found something that works for you. luvitsunnyv

Angels, always present and aware of our needs, are most humble. They do not interfere in our lives unless we invite them to do so. They usually communicate with us in the silence of our interior understanding: we "hear" angels with our hearts. - Janice T. Connell, "Angel Power"

I hear a lot of folks farther out having problems with neuropathy.....but I don't think it is pain.....rather a tingly and numbing sensation! But it does effect the limbs first like that.......Have you had your B12 levels checked??? If you are low on that it can lead to nerve damage (the neuropathy) or whatever and once the damage is done...it is permanent...that is why we have to be so vigilent in taking our supplements. Wishing you some relief and answers! Good luck and take care jesi

I too do deal with problems.......but thankfully mine usually clear themselves up with extra coffee.....I tell ya what tho.....If I go a morning or two without my coffee(like at my folks house were they only drink decaf).....I am plugged up for days, and need to take MOM to make it move! Plus things have been a little slower lately since having the plastics(took awhile for bowels to wake up from anesthesia and then not being able to strain)....but I take a couple stool softners a day(non-laxative kind) so I am doing alright! I am so glad the smooth move tea works for ya~I know how miserable the problem makes ya feel!!! Take Care and have a great weekend! jesi

Lisa, I am 53 years old and have pains in my knees. It seems that since it is so hot in NY I think it has to do with the humidity.I have suffered bad knees all my life but now at this time of year, it seems to be bothering me.I weighed 245 lbs at the time of surgery and now I seem to be holding between 130-135lbs.The knees still hurt.I would definetly see a dr. Take care and feel better..... Lorraine

Ok, I don't post much but I do check in every now and than to read about the great success everyone is having...my surgery was 12/1/03. I weighed 298 prior to surgery and am 175 now. Had some ups and downs, an internal hernia, a partial bowel obstruction...but overall have never regretted the surgery. But now for the past 3 weeks I am having this terrible aching and cramping in my hands, fingers, wrists, ankles, feet and elbows. Feels like I would imagine arthritis must feel like. PCP checked all my levels, Lupus, Lymes, MS, thyroid, arthritis...it all came back 100% perfect. I enjoy playing hockey with my son, we walk when the heat isn't too bad, I do abdominal work at the gym...but I don't exercise my hands or feet per se-could this be muscle atrophy or what? I am seeing a physiologist next week but am perplexed. Any ideas?

I had to go to Zelnorm, but sometimes that doesn't work. The tea does the trick. I don't care for the taste, but if you make it , make it with starting one bag but never more than three. Drink it as hot as you can stand it. If you don't like the taste, hold your nose and drink it fast. Drink in the morning and itll work by nite. Nona

Hi to all my friends on this Message Board. I am hoping everyone is doing well.. I have finally found the solution to my horrible problem "CONSTIPATION" I know this is not the nicest subject to talk about, but I have suffered this problem all my life. After m y WLS it seemed to have gotten worse. . I took laxatives and wound up with terrible loose poops. Sorry for being so graphic. I have read about "SMOOTH MOVE TEA" and finally decided to try it.It works I have the solution to something that has plagued me for so long. Do any of you guys suffer with this problem? Have a great day and...... PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL OF YOU ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) Lorraine
