I'm glad she's doing better. Give her a hug from us here. She must have been so scared. I can't imagine going through something so frightening. You must have been terrified for her. I'm glad you're both ok.
You are TINY!! only 5 foot tall. Such a little thing! What size are you wearing now? I'm nearly 5'6", seems I grew a bit over the last few years. My doctor says exercise did it. I wear a 14. Some 16's depending on the cut. I did gain some water, but I also gained weight. My clothes are a bit tight. SO, I am trying to cut back. No goodies, unless they're sugar free, and very limited amounts of them. I'm watching my carbs, too, unless they're veggies, fruit, and dairy. ONce a food addict, always a food addict. I have to deal with that every day, and it's hard.
Thanks for the very sweet words. Compassion is a gift from God, I believe. We all have it, but so many don't use it. He is compassionate to us. He sacrificed His son, Jesus, for us. And gives us the Bible to guide our lives and bring us closer to Him. Being a Witness taught me that. I think you have a sweet, kind heart, too. You show that in your words as well.

Hi Janice,
I had my tummy done on 9/4/5. They took 9 pounds and 5 inches from the hips. My tummy hung down onto my legs, when it wasn't stuffed into a girdle. I feel wonderful. Many have it done at the same time as a hernia repair. Talk with your doctor to see if its possible. It isnt' that painful, but I understand the hernia hurts more, since muscles are involved. Remember, panniculectomy does not involve lipo, so you will be shaped funny after, having a bigger waist than hips. I went from having to wear a size 18 jean, to fit the waist and hips to a stretch 12 and regular 14. I wore that size in 12th grade. I was never tiny, always on the fat side, so I am content. Sort of.

Allison, Hi there sweetie!!! I have been with my boyfriend now for one year. We went out for our anniversary. I care alot for him. We needed some time apart to see what would happen. It worked. I take one day at a time and know he is the sweetest. I think I tend to look for things wrong, because I am not worthyod having a good man. I must change my ways.The time we had apart gave me lots to think about. I think for him also. I think he appreciates me more and puts me as "NUMBER ONE"
Take care and never think you are nosey. We are all family here.

Hi Nona, How are you? I will receive disability while I am out.They will make small incisions about 1 inch or so to take them out.The saline that is injected is for spider veins, the smaller ones.I don't mind answering your questions Nona. You are a darling lady. I am so happy for Steve. I am glad he has found his soulmate. I am still dating my boyfriend. It has been one year. We needed some time apart for us to appreciate each other. It is very hard at our age to get into a relationship. I think now we know what we want. I think this is Mr Right, but I just take one day at a time.

How's your weight? Up, Down, or Steady? I fly up and down 205 to 195.
Any eating issues?
It would be better stated....what food issues don't I have.

Thanks for responding.!!! I must say sometimes being thin is harder that being fat...it is a hard fight...Sometimes I just need to vent and other days it's bluebird on my shoulder. You two have always been there...thank you..mark

Dear Nona,
Lizzie is 17 and she was very embarrassed because she screamed (when she was unconscious) and kicked and a lot of people saw her. She also couldn't move her arms and legs and her fingers and toes and lips and nose all tingled when she came to. She didn't sleep well because whenever she woke up a little bit, she felt that fear and she wanted to be by me and I couldn't sleep either, checking her breathing and everything... but she was fine and all is well now.
I am only 5' tall. I JUST made overweight. I have been obese all this time. I use the BMI chart to determine normal. I have along way to go to get there. I want to wear a normal pair of jeans. I am bottom heavy... my legs and butt are huge. Flat chested =P my waist is good.
You look great! I always think that. I read that plastics web site now and it seems a lot of people gain weight after ps because they swell for about a year. You probably haven't gained anything other then water weight.
Thank you for caring as you always do for everything. It is very noticeable, even in written words how compassionate you are.
