actually the further out you are, The harder it gets. I seem to be able to gain weight easier, even though my diet hasn't changed.
AND I'M NOT READY TO GET A BAND ADJUSTMENT YET (oops)
Till after I finish all my P/S's

Hi Jesi,
You asked me what I did to get the few pounds off. Well, I just started exercising again, and dropped the sugar, other than some dark chocolate at lunch. That was it. It felt so good to get on the 'mill again, and work out until I was dripping with sweat. It's the only time I don't mind getting all breathless and sweaty. Well, one of the two times, but we won't go there.
Hope your day is full of sunshine and smiles.

I too have always wanted to get to a normal weight.....but it is so hard these last few pounds. I will feel proud for those who do, but sorry for myself!!!! We sound a lot alike! Thanks again for the support and know that I am here for you too!!! Take Care

My insurance paid for my pannimalipectomy, all but my co pay, but they won't pay for the bracioplasty. I have to foot that 100%. Maybe next year, as the total cost for my area, doctor and hospital, is around 5 thousand. Is the arm surgery painful? The tummy wasn't a bit, so I was curious.

Topic: RE: Panniculectomy?
I am 2 years post op original weight 319 now 190. I am exactly where you are with 1 exception. I had my incisional hernia repaired in March, but the doctor said I would need to see the plastic surgeon to do the tummy tuck and any liposuction. She said he could do it at the same time but I would pay out of pocket for the plastic surgeon which was/is not approved by my insurance. It would be less expensive because the hospital, operating room and anestesiologist would all be covered by insurance. I decided not to do the tummy tuck and now regret it. Just last week I saw a plastic surgeon and was given an estimate for tummy tuck, liposuction, partial thigh removal [I have huge balls of fat there]. His fee is $5000.00 done at his office, To get my arms done it is $3500. and a different visit. Which are good prices. I hope to get the tummy tuck/lipo done in Feb. I am not going to have my breasts lifted even though they need it. I was told I would probably lose 10-15 pounds. So my advise if is to get this all done at the same time if you can afford it.
Good luck!!

Hi Alice! I'm two years on the 8th. Wow what a journey this has been. I am at goal and some days even lower. I'm very happy with me. Looking into the possibility of some plastics maybe next year. I don't have a lot of issues but we'll see!
Happy Anniversary to you!
