I'm not exercising as much as I did for the first year after surgery. I was afraid I would continue to lose and didn't want to lose anymore, however I know now that I need to add some muscle to these bones..... I need to get remotivated to move.........

Dear Steve,
I am so happy for you. My girls have been a joy to me from the day they were born. I am so glad you shared this with us. When is the baby due?

Dear Nona,
I only like my lemon or peach protein very very cold. I don't know what could cause that. If you enjoyed that ice tea I bet you are really missing it. Sorry I am not any help at all.
I have been having some sad news lately and feel a tad depressed. It is hard to fake it like you are happy, but you kind of have to when it is Christmas. I am glad you are feeling better.

Hi Chris
A little tough love here, you and only YOU, are responsible for where you are in your journey. It is very hard to find the time away from work to do your exercise. Trust me when I say this because I feel your pain.....I have lost 180 pounds total. All of it came off the first 12 months. I have been at 270 now for the last 12 months. Plastics will remove about 10 pounds of skin but I'm ok with where I'm at because I am healthier now then I have ever been.
Chris you have to make the time to exercise... walk around your block at home a few times before you go into the house. Find ways to do little exercises at your desk. Keep a journal and be honest with yourself about what you eat in a day, because the bottom line is this ....calories in that are not exercised off will be weight added. Love yourself, be truthful to yourself and be accountable to yourself. You are successful in your weight loss; now let's get you successful in maintaining the weight loss.

I'm in the same boat. I've only lost about 100lbs, including my plastic surgery, when you count the 12lbs I've regained. I was down to 191 at my lowest and am now 198.5. What I do is try to move as much as I can, use the stairs, park far away and walk fast to and from the car, exercise on the weekends. Watch my carbs. Eat lots of veggies and drink some shakes. It does help.

I got here at work at 6am. Been up since 4. Can't sleep any more. Yes, I am drinking room temp and doing fine. Just wonder why it changed. You're pretty terrific too, if I may add. Enjoy your holiday, future bride and baby.

Have you been like that since day one? I wasn't. It just started last month. Weird. I will mention it to my PCP. Thanks.

I enjoy iced tea, but up until last month I could drink it cold. Not any more. Now I have to sip cold stuff. Weird. I Love Coffee, but it doesn't like me. Even decaff, too much of it, give me the shakes. I can't tolerate the caffine. Thanks, Mark and have a espresso on me.

I understand where you are coming from. I am 2 years post. And I have only lost a grand total of 100 lbs. I have gain aobut 20 pound in the last 6 months. In many cases, I feel that I have lost my way..I too do not move around lot at work, and when I get home, I don't feel like moving either. I am hoping that the new year will help me get a fresh start, in getting back in control. We can do this. Pull out off the books we have been given and start to the beginning again. Good luck, I hope this helps
