Hi guys and Happy Wednesday to all!!! This is my 2 winter after WLS. I am making everyone crazy. It seems everywhere I go I am freezing. If I go to my family, I am turning off fans, turning up heat, shutting windows. I have heat in my apartment and have a heating mattress on my bed. Wherever I go I am so cold. When I get in the car, I don't let anyone open windows. It is cold here in NY. I was never cold one day in my life. Do you think losing the weight is the only reason? My bloodwork is good, I am not anemic, so whats up? It does not makes sense to be this cold. I put A/C s in this year and never turned them on. I don't think they will go in this year. I was in and out same day, and back to work a few days later. It was a very easy procedure. I had mine, LAP, too by the same surgeon who later did my RnY. Once it is out, you will only wish you had done it sooner. Enjoy not being sick any more. Nona

Sunny, How are you? I know you have talked about doing this surgery, so I am glad you are going to take care of it. I am glad you are having it done laproscopically. They will probably go into the same holes. My daughter had it done and she was home the next day. Let me know when you have it done. You know my prayers are with you. Peace and Love Lorraine

Allson, Thanks for being there for me. I was in a relationship,infact 2 marriages. Now I feel its about me for a change.I have given enough and at my age I am teaching nothing. Hi there guys and gals How is everyone? I hope you guys are fine and enjoying your new lives as Thinner Healthier People. I am or at least trying. I have been in a relationship with a wonderful man. He is a bit younger than me. There are some wonderful things about him. He has class,respect,and is kind. He lacks though in the relationship department, which makes me the teacher.I never thought that at my age, I had to take the role on as a teacher. I have been a parent and raised my daughter and thought my job was over. I really don't want to teach a man things that I know, therapy would help. I think he needs an outsider to look in and help him. He had a very strict upbringing, which I think has affected him greatly. He refuses therapy, which makes me think, he is really not ready to commit to me. I thought I could change him but I should know you can't change anyone. They must change themselves.I have ended this relationship and kind of feel sorry for him. I dated and enjoyed being single. I know he will have a hard time with this. Well life goes on and it will for me. I have a date tomorrow night. I don't know if I will get serious at this again, but I will continue my life as a single lady.
