Topic: RE: Happy Hump Day!!!
Wow, I missed Hump Day!
I love Friday's! It is my favorite day. I ate junk this week. I had a donut, a piece of apricot something or other and a valentine's day cookie all in this one week. I haven't had a lot of sleep this week and I notice that when I am more tired I have a much harder time not eating junk food. Is that the boyfriend you have troubles with? I always love hearing from this group of people!

Hi Jesi,
I am so glad that you feel better. Lizzie and Jaime are both in a murder mystery play (and dinner with it) that will be March 3rd. I am babysitting Grace (she is one just a few days ago) and she has an earache so I know you know how that is. JJ and Livy (she just turned 2) are on their way over. My best friend, the one who blacked out, her father died yesterday. Lizzie needs to be taken for a job interview for Office Max today. It is so funny. She LOVES Office Max and office supplies and she told the guy that and he thought she was just kissing butt... I really laughed because she DOES love them.
So, that is all. I am still overweight... and still trying to get to normal.
I would love PS, but I have no rashes, only this horrible skin. That is depressing.
Keep in touch cause I love you guys.

Topic: RE: Hello!
Theresa, welcome to the 12/2003 board. We've slowed down with our posts as we've gotten further out. I personally try to come back once and awhile to see how everyone is doing. I've not had to worry too much about weight gain since I lost 15 pounds below my personal goal of 130 putting me at 114# one year post op....I ended up needing to gain a few pounds. Being 26 months post op now, though, I find foods are becoming a "temptation" again. I'm trying to increase my activity level since my daily calorie intake is still below 1350 most days. Let us know how you are doing ~

Hey Allison.....Thanks for the concern......I am feeling SO much better these days! Your right, sad is hard. My PCP put me on wellbutrin 2x a day and it seems to help.....that along with my tummy getting fixed, I feel 98% better truly. I had no idea how depressing it would be when the PS didn't turn out as planned....hard to explain, but it had me in the dumps. My PS is amazing tho, and went out of her way to fix it for me! Thanks for thinking about me What are you up too? How is life going for you? Wishing you the best, and thanks again! Take Care Jesi
Topic: RE: Hello!
Our December boards can be kinda slow.....but there are a few of us diehards left We all do have our struggles.....everyone seems to think the first 6 months are so hard......if we only knew......I think it gets harder the farther out we get.....for me and a lot of others....food wise we are pretty "normal" these days, so it is all about calories in/ versus calories out....well thats what screwed me to begin with So I for one, am working my tail off......trying to get back on the exercise bandwagon.....trying to cut out all grazing, it is tough! But we come here when we need support, or a swift kick in the rear I was up 12lbs....and it was/is the pits.....seems to come on so quick....but man oh man taking it off is going SLOWLY!!!! Hope to see you around more! Take Care jesi

Thanks Nona! Sorry you had to have that nasty flu! Yeah, I've been struggling, but I keep plugging along. Thanks for your well-wishes! Theresa
Topic: RE: Hello!
Hello Theresa,
I've been out sick with the 'flu for two weeks, but welcome to the board. We all have our 'struggles'. I do daily with snacking and chocolate. I only lost 100 of the 150 I needed to lose, but I'm healthy and wearing the same size I did in 11th grade, a 14 with few 12's. We just have to do what works, whether its a food diary, being accountable to another person, exercise, or just plain starving oneself. We just try to be here for each other bouncing ideas back and forth, or just listening.
Anyway, welcome, and please post often.
Nona
Topic: RE: So Happy to have visited...
Dear Shelly,
Yeah, sometimes it is so hard to see the people who don't seem to have a struggle and others have to work so hard. Sometimes I think I wi**** were easier and I didn't have to exercise so much and watch every minute of the day what I chose to eat, but even if we were too thin, exercise helps us be much heathier. I tell myself that! I also tell myself that I eat healthy too. We have really helped ourselves to a longer, happier life.
I love this board and the people on it. I do hope you come back.

Dear Jesi.
You are so pretty. You LOOK done! I would LOVE to get PS! So tired of that stomach. Blah!
How are you feeling? You said you were depressed for awhile and I think sad is so hard to live with. I think about you when I pray for you at night and hope that you feel happy.
Take care and thank you for keeping us updated.
