Nona, I am glad you are OK. I used to take Neurontin for the Diabetic Neuropathy I had. I found it had me in LA LA land, but it did take away the pain in my feet. I am glad you are and waking up refreshed. This is my weekend off and me and my boyfriend are headed up to Vermont to 2 cabins, summer homes that he has. I have put off not going for the longest, due to the out house he says he says he has there. I like a bathroom. He also says there is no running water. He says if I don't like it he will take me to a hotel. There is a wood burning stover there also. I hope to enjoy it.
Have a great weekend.
Yes things are going much better with our relationship. It just took so much time, and I tend to be kind of inpatient at my age.

Hi sweetie! I was wondering where you went. We have lost so many on this board, it's good to see you back. Yes, I gained about 10lbs and can't get it off and am struggling not to gain any more. I'm hoping that now that my health has improved, I can get to more walking and get some of it back off. Keep at it, little one, and you'll get it back off.

I felt the same way, that since I didn't lose the 150 I wanted, that I failed. But, I know that my body just doesn't want to be at the weight I want it to be. So, I just try to keep it where it is and maintain. You did great. Yes, upping the water and protein always helps. I've started drinking shakes again, under Dr's orders. It helps some health issues I have, other than just the bypass. Eat complex carbs, like lots of veggies, fresh fruits and whole grains. Eat a few Triscuits with a shake it you stay full for hours.

Hi Lorraine,
IT sounds like you are on your way to some real happiness. I am very glad for you. I couldn't go without meds for RLS. I couldn't sleep or sit to work. I was a mess. I'm taking Neurontin, 800mg and doing great now. I sleep all night, nice and deep sleep and wake refreshed. I feel really good.

I wish so much I had that problem, keeping weight on. But I struggle every day to keep it at 195 and not go up. I am glad you are doing so well after the GB removal. That little organ can cause so much trouble if it goes and one feels so good after it comes out.

Having my GB out was a pretty simple procedure, in and out the same day. Few days later I was right back to normal. Glad I had it done. Mad no stones but the HITA scan showed it was not functioning and out it had to come. Glad I did it. You'll be fine.

Hi there and welcome back wave: I have lost 115 pds and have held steady since I hit my "GOAL" I started at 245 lbs and got to a low of 130 lbs which at 5ft6 was a bit too thin. I am up 10 down 10,but holding steading at about 140 lbs. I seem to stay there. My eating has gotten better but still there are many things I can't eat. I am happy you are back. I hope whether you gain or lose you hang in there with us ok.
