Topic: RE: What am I doing wrong
I am like Nona...haven't lost anything in about 3 months. But unlike Nona, I have not been very good at getting my protein in or eating very well these days. I am so bad at getting in the protein drinks. I hate everyone that I have tried (Unjury, Nectar and Whey Fruity). Just wish there was a pill to take. I know I need to take them for my health but just can't get them down. So TODAY is my new DAY!!! I am going to get those drinks in and stop that snacking!! I know it will get moving again and you will too! Keep up the good work.

Topic: Yep I'm Still Here and Staying the Same
Hello Everyone, It's been forever since I've posted anything. DH and I went to Myrtle Beach for 5 days (by ourselves-no kids) and we had a great time. Things have been very hectic both at home and work. But I did want to say that I haven't lost anything in a couple of months. I've done the same thing, upped this, lowered that, but nothing seems to work. I go back to my surgeon next Tuesday and see what he says. I've been having female problems and found out that I have 5-6 fybrous tumors, I had a D&C in August to help with the excess bleeding but now my periods are coming every 3 weeks or so (before it was every 4 weeks). Would any of that have anything to do with me not losing the weight? Anyway, hope everyone is doing well and I will try to get on here more often. God bless you all!

Topic: RE: 10 months today WHERE ARE YOU AT?
Just saw this loop...I am 10 months out and I have lost 152 lbs. I am within 36 lbs of my goal of 133. My doc says 120 but I'll be happy at 133. I am only 4'11 1/2". I have gone from a 26-28, 3-4X shirt, 8 EEE shoes, 14 undies, 56D bra to: 10-12, Medium, 7 Regular, 7 undies, and 36B. I have lost over 80 inches. I feel great, look great for a 58 year old Grammy (yesterday was my BD). And this year has flown by for me. Have done so many new things this year and planning on doing more before this year is over! I want to go skiing and make a snow angel and sleigh ride with my grandkids. And I will.
Blessings to all of you. December 2003 is the year for the most successful stories of them all!

Nona's right......unfortunately plateaus are normal, especially when you get further out and closer to goal.....You should consider yourself lucky.....I have gone A LOT longer than two weeks without losing.....It isn't even considered a plateua unless you go six weeks without weight or inches lost. If you are doing everything like you are supposed, keep up the good work and things will start moving again! Take Care and have a great day! Jesi

Topic: RE: HOW MUCH CAN U EAT NOW?
For me it varies from day to day.......I was up to almost a cup of food at each meal.....On the 7th of this month I had a hysterectomy and was on liquids for a couple days....anyways, that kinda reset my pouch and now I am back to 1/4-1/2 cup food at most! I am loving feeling so full again on such little quanities of food......I reccomend going back to liquids for a few days to reset your pouch, it worked great for me! Anyways for snack ideas for school......how about an apple with some peanut butter for dipping? String cheese sticks......nuts, salads, anything really! God luck with school! Take Care and have a Great day Jesi

I've been at the same weight for nearly 3 months now. I cut back on food, upped the food, cut back on exercise, upped the exercise, upped the protein, cut the protein, upped everything you can think of and cut it back, but nothing worked. I wish I could help you, but plateau's are normal. Just keep eating right, and you will start loosing again.

HI Christy,
I probably eat the most of anyone here. So I don't know if my choices are the best. We have a 'fridge at work, so I can bring whatever I need, but if you don't have one, you'll need things that don't need refridgeration, like protein bars, soy nuts/chips, dried meat/veggies/fruit.
