Topic: RE: 3 DOWN, 23 TO GO
Thanks Jesi with the beautiful family!! I'm petrified of plastic surgery too especially since I will be having the works done, arms, LBL, thighs, breast lift, etc. It will all be done in phases though. I have NO PAIN TOLERANCE and cry like a baby when I stub my toe so can you imagine how I will feel after ps? OMG. But, you see instant results and the pain will go away (this is what I keep telling myself!). I am so excited to embark on this part of the journey though after working so hard for the past 10 months (well at that point it will be 13 or 14 months). The last 20 are the hardest huh? I actually have 38 to my ultimate goal of 140 but I am hoping that as a result of plastic surgery and removal of skin I will lose the last 15 pounds. YOU CAN DO THIS THOUGH JESI. Just stick to the pouch rules and try to get some exercise in - being this far out keeping the calories low and the exercise high are the keys for continued weight loss (per my surgeon from last night's meeting!). Take care too.

And thank goodness it's Friday.......Has been a long week!!!! Congrats!
You are doing so well Kim! I am told by my surgeon that I am ready for plastics too.....in fact my GYN wants me to have it now.....but I am just to dang scared of it!!! My panni is bad and it makes buying jeans a pain, but I am so scared of P.S. I know I am a wuss! Anyways I hope tht last 23 pounds melts off quick for ya! I am past my surgeons goal weight now working on my own goal.....I too have 20lbs left, I know they are going to be the hardest 20, since everything has slowed down.....I'll wish you luck, and hope for the same.....lol!!! Take Care and have a great day!

Topic: 3 DOWN, 23 TO GO
I just wanted to SHOUT out that I lost 3 pounds in the last week and I am now 23 pounds to my pre-plastic surgery goal of 155 !! I don't know if my body will take me that low before I start my round of plastic surgery but I am going to try my hardest. I am also out of the 180s and into the 170s !! This has been such an exciting road for me, I FEEL WONDERFUL.
Last night at my support group meeting I met one of the plastic surgeons that I have an appt with in December and I was very impressed with him. Although I will have to pay 100% out of pocket if I use him (my insurance doesn't offer "out of network coverage") I think it may be worth it because he was awesome. I saw some of his work too, a woman had her arms done and the scars were barely noticeable. I saw the LBL scars and they were great too. We'll see - right now I just need to work on getting as much of these last pounds off as possible before plastics.
Have a great day everyone !! IT'S FRIDAY!!

Topic: RE: Question of the day!!!
CHRISTMAS by far. I love the decorations, the music and now being 169 pounds less I know this year I will enjoy Christmas so much more. New York City also has a special ambiance around the Christmas holidays - the lights, street decorations, etc. It's really special. For the past 5 years my daughter and I have been going to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and this year when we go I'll fit so much more comfortably in the seats; I can't wait for that! Last Christmas I was miserable just recuperating from surgery but this year - watch out baby!! I'm so excited - hope I can keep a handle on NO SWEETS! Have a great day Jesi.

Jesi, Hi there
With all the different holidays coming up.....what is your fave holiday and why???
Jesi, I would have to say that all of the holidays coming are my favorites. I don't have a special one. When my children were younger I enjoyed the Christmas things. I made cookies and strung popcorn . Now that my kids are grown I do still enjoy decorating the tree and the music ...".LOVE IT" My favorite is Nat King Coles xmas favorites.
I think that Thanksgiving will be a hard one for me this year. We all gather upstate and just pig out.
I will try my best to handle that one. I love to see my Nana. I have no mom and she has been a MOM to me. She is 81 and I cherish her dearly. Just being around my family makes me very happy.
I will look forward to New Years Eve this year.. I love to go out and
and
I now can wear all the sexy clothes out there.
Have a great day Jesi, and good question.....
love: Lorraine

HOW MUCH CAN U EAT NOW
Hi Christy
It varies from day to day.Sometimes it seems to myself anyways that I am eating to much and other days I don't eat nearly enough.I went to Denny's the other day with my 2 sisters and brother inlaw and they all ordered a big breakfast and I drank coffee. It is strange that I have to force myself to eat at times. At one time I could eat them all under the table and now my friend Cathys 6 year old daughter can eat more than I can.I do try to have a CIB every morning and stay away from empty calories(chips,cookies..etc,)Hope everything works out for you.....................Steve c
