I am 10 months post op and was wondering if anyone knows how many calories we are suppose to be eating at this point. I try to eat at least 100 gms of protein and drink at least 100 oz of water a day. I keep my carb intake under 40gm (at least I try, sometimes that is hard if you have no control over what is made as guest of someone else). But I have never been told how many calories I should be at. There are times that I am eating around 1200 calories (which is nothing compared to what I used to eat ). I love cottage cheese and I have noticed that since that is a dairy product, it does have quite a bit of calories in them. I drink 3 protein drinks a day, and they are anywhere from 130 to 170 calories, so that is 510 right there. I have been at a major plateau for the last 3 months. I was told to increase my protein intake from 64-80 to over 100 which I did, now it seems that my calories are going up, so any advice in this area would be appreciated. Thanks Chris E 354/276/???

My anniversary date is Dec 29th so I just finished up 10 months. sitting around 92 lbs lost with another 18 or so to go. Wearing 14P jeans/pants and large tops. But I feel smaller than that?!?! Hi all, Well, tomorrow will be eleven months for me. And four months with the scale and tape measure reading the same. No changes. The bad news is I found I can eat a small amount of sugar. I was craving chocolate so badly, I ate 4 mini's yesterday. I did get a little crampy, but not like I used to. Would have preferred to get real crampy, but I didn't. Not a good thing. So I moved the candy dish out of my sight. As long as I can't see it, I'm fine. It sits on my desk at work. At home the candy for the DH is in the back of a cupboard, so I don't see it. I do have some sf chocolate at home, but not here at work. Maybe I should? My tummy troubles have been solved, at least for now. I go tomorrow for the second Mamm to check for the 'irregurlarity' they found on the first, then I go see the specialist and discuss my options. My test results came back from the smear and no active cancer cells were found in the drainage, but my PCP still thinks it is a form of non-malignant cancer in a mammary duct and it should be removed. Non malignant is a good thing. I had basal cell melanoma on my shoulder and had that removed with no problems and no reoccuring, so I'm hoping the same with this. I just wish I could get my calories down below 1200 a day. But I get so hungry if I go that low. Anyone have any ideas? Nona
