Topic: help?
Hi everyone. Had my test on Friday. There is definately something there, but it looks more like just thickening than a lump, so we are very hopeful it is benign, or in extremely early stages. So that is all good news. But I have a problem with my eating. I know I'm eating too much. Here's my menu for today. B: 5 Triscuits w/cr cheese and sf jam and a low carb yogurt. I am to get my calcium naturally due to being susceptable to kidney stones and don't take added vitamins, other than a multi vitamin. S: an apple L: 3oz beef, 1/2 cup carrots, and 4 Triscuits S: 3oz beef and 4 triscuits Supper: 4oz chicken breast, 1/2 cup peas with a little butter, a small salad, and if I have dessert, a s/f fudgecicle. I was told to up the fiber for diverticulitus, so the added Triscuits. They are all whole wheat and I use the Reduced Fat ones. It's about 1100 calories. I know it has to be too much. I just can't get the scale moving. My size is stable, too. I'm exercising when I can and getting in plenty of fluid. Guys, any ideas? Nona

Hi Angela, You look fantastic. Do you mind if I ask you about how many calories a day do you take in? I'm still trying to get my weight moving again after a 4 month stall. Nona

Topic: RE: Cold affecting you differently this year???
Boy, do I know what you're feeling. I am so cold all the time. I wear a t-shirt, a long sleeved tee and a sweater in my office, or I have the heat up to 80. My poor DH is roasting at home. I keep it so warm he runs around in shorts. Not that I mind, he has great legs. LOL. What am I doing to do when it snows? It gets below zero here a lot and the wind just howls. Maybe by next year, after we're stableized our internal thermostats will be better. I hope. Nona

Tracy, Hi and good seeing you. My family seems to think its in my head. I now wear layers of clothes and when I travel upstate I bring my own electric blanket. I never wore sweaters now I do. My best friend keeps saying that something is wrong with me being so cold. My bloodwork is perfect. I tried to tell her I have lost half of my body. She laughs at me. Well you have a great day and keep warm ok... & Lorraine

I think our insulation has melted away! I stay cold all the time. It is abour 56 degrees here and I couldn't stand at the bus stop with my girls. I had to watch from the window. I guess it is time to dig out the ole jacket (if it fits). I did get one on ebay the other day. Pretty good deal too. I just hope it fits and gets here soon. Rhonda PS. Working on getting my pic on here. I just have to get to my mother's house for a scanner. Mine has bit the dust.

I wore thigh high THICK socks, jeans a cheneile sweater AND a down filled coat to walk to the bus stop this morning and I put the hood on too! Brrrrrrrrrrr Anyone else out there cold? Tracy

I watched it and i thought it was heart warmong and very informitive! Even to see al's story again was very interesting hes doing great~I think as long as a teens family and the teenagers know what there getting into its ok for them to go ahead with the procedure and i think it was awesome how the boy researched it for 2 years before the surgery educating himself about the surgery, I myself had the surgery 11 months ago and am feeling great now Thanks for posting the conversation and god bless i hope things are well for you as well!!!
