I worked two part time shifts today, they wanted me to see both the lunch crowd and the evening crowd on a Friday night. We are located next door to a major (20 I think) theater, so it gets might busy on weekends! I'm so tired...but I got my first pay today! Gonna do some Christmas shipping tomorrow as I think it will be my only day off this week. Huggz to you all. Tracy

1) As your anniversary of your WLS approaches, are you getting excited as you look back at before and after? I believe I've been excited for the past 3 months. I realize I really am doing this and people are telling me I'm too skinny! Me! Skinny! 2) Was this surgery all you anticipated, or are you a bit disappointed in your decision? WLS was more than I anticipated. I cannot believe I have a real life, feel great, look great. 3) Do you look back often at this time last year? Yes, I have been looking back. Actually someone even reminded me how depressed I was last October because I couldn't do anything. I really journalled so I have a diary of what those days were like last year. 4)Do you have any comments you would like to make? I love life!

Hello all, Just wanted to let you know that I am now working. My friend asked me to help out in her resteraunt part time for the holidays. Then my other friend has asked me to work in his fitness club (150 miles away) on Monday/s. Isn't it always the way it goes...you can always get a job if you HAVE a job already! Hi Lorraine! I hope you are well. I had a very busy day and am just checking the boards now. 1)Have you guys started your Christmas Shopping yet? Yes, two of my nephews are done. Still need my parents, my other nephew, my 3 nieces and my daughter of course! 2)Have you bought yourself some new Holiday outfits yet? No. I am hoping to buy a matching outfit with my daughter from Hannah Andersson (I love that store!). 3)Do you know what you are doing as far as family gatherings or travel? For Thanksgiving, my daughter and I are traveling to Virginia to spend with my brother and my sister who is driving up from North Carolina. We'll then drive down to North Carolina for a few days. Not sure about Christmas. My daughter and I traditionally spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in the City; not sure what we are doing thereafter. 4) Will you be spending more or less this year on gifts? More! 5) Do you have any plans to go out for the New Year? No, I never go out. I do remember last year - I was so miserable, in such pain! This year I will enjoy a nice glass of wine and a relaxing evening. 6) Do you plan to do any cooking for the holidays? Yes. Making a Pumpkin Cheesecake for Thanksgiving (with splenda!). Don't know yet for Christmas. 7) Have you come up with some good healthy recipes you can pass along to us? No! 8) Do any of you guys drink alcohol occasionally? What do you drink? Occasionally I have a 1/2 glass of wine when I go out to dinner. Pinot Grigio is my favorite. I can't have anything more than a 1/2 glass because I really can't handle it. I get really dizzy and light headed! What a cheap date.
