Q of the Day.....it'll be fun!!!! We are all aproaching or one year.....PLEASE share with us what you are going to be doing? Are you going to be celebrating, buying yourself something nice, calling the plastic surgeon, what????? Also are ya'll happy thus far today make 1 year for me.I have lost 225 lbs and I feel great.I am working out 4 times a week and I am so much happier than I have ever been.I hope your journey is a smooth one.If not for wls I would not be here today this i'm sure of...........steve c

My one year anniversary is 12/15 and I'm not sure what I will be doing to celebrate. I know I have a Chemistry final on 12/15 but believe me, that's not a celebration! 12/16 I have a routine appointment with the surgeon. I bought a new black dress to wear to a Christmas Party -- size 0. I need to gain some weight, too. The small sizes are as hard to find as the big sizes once were. I'm not complaining, though. I'm glad I had the surgery. 118 is far better than 226. I don't know about PS. I could use a lower body lift but I hate the thoughts of surgery again, you know. LuvitsunnyV@goal

Well, had the one yr visit today and doctor said WOW you were not what I was expecting! So, I took that has a postive! I had the doctor document my skin irratation problems so I can get approved with insurance for my TT. I need 3 months of complaining and prescriptions. I also had lab work and met with the dietican. I was told I need to eat more...I do not log how much or calories I just eat when I need to and feel like I am hungry by her estimation I get 800-1000 caloreis a day. Then I got told to up the protein...I was only getting in like 35 per day and I am still losing hair. So, I went and bought some of that Designer WHey chocolate flavor for my protein today...its ok but better than others I have tried. I asked the doctor if I needed to lose anymore and he said no but if I wanted 6 more pounds would be good but he is pleased were I am at. However, he said since I am still losing he thinks I will lose more over the year. I am enjoying this new body and take on life. I wish all my friends here the best! Karie -119

My one year anniversary isn't until the 18th, but I already know what I'll be doing. I have two Christmas parties to go to that day. During the afternoon it'll be the barn party (in the tack room, but the horses get treats, too.) Most of the people at that party see each other almost every day, but it's a nice time for the whole family. That evening my husband's boss is having a party which requires dressing up and everything. What a shame, I'll have to go buy something new. And sexy. I know there will be people at that party who haven't seen me in 130 pounds or so. I just love surprising people with the "new" me. Sure was nice of everyone to decide to make my anniversary such a party day! Big back at ya! Deb

Hey Steve: Congratulations!! We have the same surgery date. I am glad we both are feeling great and eating differently. Yahoo. I have also had ups and downs but mostly it has been on the upward trail. I wish you very happy holidays and lots and lots of wonderful things in your new life.
