You look MAHVELOUS!!!! I love the Grand Canyon pics! What gorgeous scenery!! I remember going and thinking that I would never weigh the dinky amount they require for the DONKEY trail ride to the bottom of the canyon...I actually think I qualify now if we ever go back. Only did a day trip from Vegas. I think that will make a nice family vacation out west some day! I walk up a flight or 2 of stairs now without even thinking about it. Before I would want to do it but knew the suffering I would have afterwards. Now I just do it and it doesn't bother me at all (as long as I don't have this crappy cold stuffing me up!) I love seeing myself in pictures now!! But unfortunately HUBBY isn't a very good photo taker....so it i**** or miss if I get a good one from him.

CONGRATULATIONS!! You have worked really hard...we all have! I know what you mean about people looking at you. I had been heavy all of my life and no one ever seemed to notice me (well except that I was heavy). Now, I go to the grocery store and I have people ask for my phone number....lol and I have been married for over 7 years! It is nice to be noticed! You have done a great job and you can make it to your goal!! ~Rachel

My one year anniversary was on December 1st and boy has it been an amazing year! Well today...I got on the scale and it said 125. That is my "goal" weight set by my doctor. It might say 126 tomorrow but for today...I am at goal and really proud of myself! I hope that everyone has a great day! ~Rachel 230/125!!!

I am in the same boat. My Dad tells me he thinks that I am too thin. When I told him before surgery how much I weighed he couldn't believe it. I guess I was one of those people that just hid weight well ****il I took my clothes off). I weigh 145 now and he just thinks that I am too thin. My Mom asks me all the time if I have lost anymore weight because I don't need to. I look good now and if I lost anymore I would look sickly. Parents! They have supported me all the way with a push for my Dad. He was so worried about the surgery. Anyway just enjoy the comments or take them with a grain of salt. You have to be comfortable in your own skin. Rhonda

One of the best things I ever did was have a partial hysterectomy. I felt 100% better after surgery. You will get back on track! Think positive! Good luck to ya! Rhonda

Another thing that seems to be working against me....in trying to loose the last 20 lbs. People, every day, over and over tell me I'm thin enough or that I don't need to loose more. I think that is really making me coast a little. I have always carried a lot of my weight in my legs (calves, ankles) and still do....that will probably never change. From the theighs up, I probably am thin enough but definately not from the knees down. The thing is.......I am NOT little, thin, or tiny. I'm 5'8", VERY large boned and still bigger than most women I'm around. I wears 12's and 14's and Large tops and even some X-larges. I also know I will NEVER be a size 6 or 8.....that my body is not made to be that. I also apparently don't look like I weigh as much as I do. When I went to the dr. recently, the nurse set the first weight on the 100. I told her that she needed AT LEAST the next notch up and possibly 2 more up. She looked shocked. According to the BMI chart, I'm still overweight (29.8 BMI), in fact just barely out of obese. But I do think that my large bone structure would call for me to weigh a little more than the BMI chart suggests. Anyway, I guess I should enjoy "looking thin" to most people, feeling good myself, etc....just not sure what to do with all the "you're plenty thin now" comments people make! Jenni
