Hi Steve, I don't drink much, just a little wine, red preferably, or a good chardonnay. Goes straight to my head. I'm still at -104. Can't do any more, I guess. Sure wish I could get that last 25 off I want to see gone. I know that if I exercised more, it would probably go, but when you are working from 6-6 four days a week, you just don't have the energy or the time to do anything other than a few sit ups at night, and they aren't regular. The weekends are usually so busy, I don't always have time to spend a half hour on the treadmill and 20 minutes on weights, but I get there when I can. My weekend was busy. Our ceiling in the living room fell, so we had to replace that, then our tv died on Saturday. So Sunday we replaced that. So between the ceiling and the tv, it was an expensive weekend. We don't celebrate, being Jehovah's Witnesses, so we just spent the time of together, Joe and I. Nona

When I was sick you guys were so encouraging to me.You could relate to alot of my problems since we all went through this together, even though some of us did not have the same problems. Hi there Patricia, How are you? Happy Holidays to you and your family. Hernias can be a problem. I know from first hand experience. You did not mention if you had pain. I began to suffer with pains in stomach that radiated into my back. Those pains began in July. I had my RNY December 15th 2003. My dr suspected a hernia but all tests were negative. I thought I would die with the pain. I don't want to scare you and I hope you don't suffer like I did. To make a long story short...... I was in the hospital 3 times before I let him operate in September. Once he went into the Lap Holes from the RNY he saw an inner hernia. The hernia was so large I had to be opened. I am a NURSE so lifting is part of my job. I had to stay home for 8 weeks. I now wear a support belt. I still feel a bit of pain in the incision area.I now am pain free. I can also digest food much better.. Take care of it and don't let it strangulate. OK? Keep me posted. & Lorraine RNY 12/15/03.....245 lbs AT Present..........132 lbs ....-113 pds "AT GOAL"
