Hi there Shawna, How are you doing? I am so happy to hear from your girl. I was trying to post today and had such a hard time.It kept asking me for my password and would not let me in. BIG HELLO TO YOU ALSO I had complications also but have not regrets whatsoever.I had hernia surgery in September and now all my pains I had are gone. I now can digest food, in small portions very well. I have gone from 245 lbs to 130 lbs and been at goal. I was wearing a size 22/24 and now can wear a SIZE 6. I am and enjoying life now. I have me a special man and I think after 19 years alone, I have found Mr Right. Take care of yourself and keep in touch. Lorraine

So sorry about your daughter's illness. I will pray for her. I've been visiting my DH in the hospital all week and some nights I have brought a "picnic" meal to eat with him. I do much better choices when I do that than when I eat in the hospital cafeteria.

The CAT scan will show if it's a hernia. I can eat an 8-10 oz Tv dinner now too. Sometimes. Sometimes not. I worry I can eat too much now too. i am down 155 and want to lose 45 more but have been at a standstill for pretty much 6 weeks now. I know I need to eat less or exercise more. I am hoping with the warmer weather coming soon I will get more exercise in. I guess this isn't very helpful but I do wish you the best!

I still throw up, depending on what food I just ate. One thing Ive learned is that I can NOT for any reason eat any type of Fried Potato. A small hashbrown from burger king and i am in the bathroom gagging for the next 5 minutes. I however have never had any problems with sugar itself. I have had problems with chocolate though, i cant stand chocolate now. Hope you feel better, and stay away from that evil cheese cake stuff. If you ever get in the mood for anything salty, try fat free sour cream and onion pringles, only 70 calories in 15 chips and it gets rid of that salty/crunchy craving. Jessica

Topic: I need some support
Hi Everyone, I seem to be having some problems and sort of fell off the wagon here. Ok, what is going on with my body is i was 555 when I had the surgery, im down to 395 - so ive lost 160lbs. For the last few months when I wake up my pouch feels hard, and gets really sore if I exercise or go shopping, just basically walking around. First off, has anyone had that happen to them? Where no matter what they've ate or drank that day their pouch will just instant become hard and ache?? Second, Sometimes I'll eat stuff I know im not suppose to, so to prevent that from happeing I went back onto weigh****chers - which is SO much easier when you have a little pouch for a stomach, but I can get down an entire WW Frozen Meal and have no real discomfort and they are each about 8 - 10 oz each which scares me. Then an hour later im hungry again. Im so very confussed about the way my body's acting, and the pain and what not. I know that I shouldnt be able to eat more than 4 oz, yet I can get 10 down and its freaking me out. My weight has been hovering for the last month, but thats because i gained some water weight in my legs and have swelling. Im averaging losing 5-10 lbs a month right now. Does anyone have any advice for me? Im really getting scared, and I don't want to start gaining weight again, I need to loose 30lbs by june, which im trying my damndest, but its hard to do when your in pain. If anyone has had this type of pain and has any idea what it is PLEASE Respond. I have gone into the doctor and they ran a cat scan and are going to be running other test. I just want to know if im the only one this has happened too. Thanks. Jessica

Nona, So sorry to hear about your daughter. It tough to see our kids suffer like that. Make sure you keep yourself healthy and strong too. When we get run down our bodies just take a harder it than what they use too. Keeping you in my prayers...take care of yourself. Karie

Happy Valentine's Day to you too Lorraine! No chocolate for me this year, that's a promise. My Valentine's gift to myself was my LBL which was scheduled for Thursday but I had to re-schedule it due to internal hernia surgery last weekend. I'm now working on recovering my body. It's hard not to exercise (never thought I'd say that!). Hey, at least I lost 5 lbs in the hospital and am now at 145 lbs bring my total weight loss to 202 lbs. I'd love to lose another 5 lbs before my LBL which is now scheduled for April 4th. We'll see... Have a great day! Kim 347/145 -202 lbs

Sorry to hear about your daughter. I'll keep her and your family in my prayers. Try taking protein shakes and/or protein bars with you when you are visiting or caring for her and when she is resting try walking around as much as possible. Maintaining at this time in your life is better than gaining. It must be so difficult to see your daughter, no matter the age, in pain and there is nothing you can do about it. Just being there for her is the best medicine right now. Good luck. Kim 347/145 -202 lbs

Hi there Nona, I am so sorry your daughter is not well. I am saying a prayer for her and will continue to keep her in my prayers. All you can do is be there for her and hold her hand. You being there is just what she needs. Concentrate on her and don't worry about your weight. You will be just fine. It is important for you to maintain now and that is what I am doing now. I tend to drop 1 or 2 pds,but I really don't care to come lower than 130 lbs. I am 5ft6 and that is thin enough. Again, I am praying for you and good seeing you posting. & to you and your daughter...Lorraine
