I don't handle my alcoghol well-meaning I am a cheap date. I need to get my grad school work done on the weekends since I teach and attend classes during the week. I have my final project due for my Adv. Reading Strategies class and a final exam for my PE/Health(teaching not doing) class. Yesterday we learned how to make crystal meth.(sort of...lol)
I don't do beer either-but I was not much of a beer drinker before. I either stick with a good rita or a small glass of wine.
Have fun in FL...I'm quasi jealous of you

You, your daughter and family are in my prayers. I can't even imagine your pain right now. In your concern for her, though, you need to remember that you can't afford to let yourself get under the weather. You are her strength right now.

Coconut Grove is having their huge Arts and Crafts festival this weekend. I usually go with my DH and any of the children that might be in for the weekend. I leave the house for work every morning Mon-Fri at 6:20 AM , on the job from 7:30 AM - 5 or 6 PM , and don't get home until 10:00 PM because I'm still taking some evening classes at Miami-Dade College. I look forward to EVERY weekend! I just want to walk in some sunshine!
I've never been a drinker of alcoholic beverages other than occasional wine. I really don't care for wine anymore, though. I do enjoy an occasional single peach sangria at the Olive Garden with no ill effect.

Hi Lorraine,
I plan on being with my daughter on Friday and Sunday. She starts therapy on Friday to learn to function in a wheelchair.
Saturday I'm going to Sam's Club with my son.
Not much time for anything else. Wish I had time to exercise. I do miss it.

myself. I am so glad I let them go in and look.
Yes, Drinking liquids have changed alot for me. I now can have a bit of liquid with my meals. I could not before. If I don't snack in between meals I can eat and drink better.I think drinking liquids are great especially water.

I cant stand not knowing, i know theres something wrong, i just cant stand not knowing exactly what it is.
Does anyone notice they can drink alot more liquids at one time, i can drink 17 oz of water in 5 - 10 minutes - but it seems to run right through me, does anyone realize it?

Thanks so much, atleast im not the only one, so im not feeling to bad. I need to exercise but im scared to because of the pain, and if it is a hernia i dont want it to come back. the cat scan didnt show anything but my doctor is squeezing me in on thursday cuz he is worried about me still having pain. sounds like they might just do some exploritory or something. which scares me.

Jessica, I hope your health problems will be solved. I had terrible pains and all tests showed nothing. The pains started from April 2004 and finally ended in September 2004, when I let my Dr. go back inside and see. I had an inner hernia that could not be seen on any tests.I had barium swallows, cat scans and nothing came up. I hope they find what is wrong with you. Having pain is no fun. My pains radiated into my back. I thought I would die. I finally agreed to surgery once the pain became unbearable.
