Yup, my mom in law. She goes on and on how she wishes I didn't have it, how silly it was, etc. Even sometimes my Joe says he thinks it was silly. That he loved me the way I was and I didn't need to change. I told both of them I needed this to feel better health wise and to feel better about me. I know I won't ever get down to the size I want, but I wear the same size I did in 12th grade, so I guess I can't complain. I'm hoping that I, too, with the weather improving, will get a few more pounds down, and firm up what I do have. Maybe 10 pounds? I have also had other say what I did was the easy way out. Easy? Show me where it was easy. I struggle with chocolate and pretzles every day. To those folks, I tell them, walk my path then tell me if it was easy. I did it both ways and neither is easy. Nona

Hi there to all my buddies here. I am hoping everyone is fine. I am doing great. My daughter has moved out and still is so angry, she does not speak to me. She says I am not the same person as I was last year. I explained to her I make look different on the outside,but inside I am the same. She has many issues within herself she needs to work out. She had RNY in 2000 and never got to goal and regained most of her weight back. I think this bothers her alot. Meanwhile I am enjoying life, dating, beginning to exercise with the nice weather coming and loving life. I soon hope she will begin to come around. Please keep me in your prayers guys. I every day and say to myself I did my best to raise her.Where did I go wrong? She will soon be 29. Take care guys. Enjoy life. It is short. Lorraine

I admit..........I don't visit the December 03 board as much as I should. Thankfully, I am maintaining my 118 weight but I feel like I am constantly eating to do so. I wear 0's and 2's and have even bought a couple of shirts in the girls section at Old Navy. I'm still not sure when to get the gall bladder out -- the stones are small.......so far. I need a LBL really bad but can't do so without the help of insurance. Everything is great, though. My daughter comes home from college this Friday so it will be wonderful to have her around. Tomorrow AM comes early.....so everyone have a good nite! Ruthanna

Shame on me for not posting more. I am so guilty of getting busy with my new healthy lifestyle that I have forgotton to post and see how all you Dec. 2003 folks are doing. Its obvious to me that we are doing good since many of us don't post as much. We are out and about intead of just sitting. I have lost 139 lbs and am into a size 3/4...WOW! This time last year I was happy to be in a 12-14. I did not think I would be this size. I am anxiously awaiting approval from my insurance for a TT. I am in no rush...I would like to have it done like in August of this year if possible. I am happy to say I took the training to be an obesityhelp support group leader and hold meetings in my local area. Its amazing how many folks wanna know more about this wls. I am loving life and am doing new things everyday. I just got my motorcycle permit and my hubby bought me a motorcycle! Yes, can you believe it...I never thought I would be riding a motorcycle. Best to all of you here....would love to here what is new with you all too! Karie
