Hi Sandra I know what your saying because after loosing almost 300 lbs I have lose skin like all of us do that have had wls.I am lucky because the girl i'm with doesn't care we where friends before we had sex and she knows the road i've been on and is supportive.Good luck.........steve c

Nona it sounds like you are a great candidate for surgery. I just got approved for my surgery and didn't have any problems. Each insurance has it's own set of criteria for approving everything......I would just call around to some plastic surgeons and see if they deal with your insurance.......if you need a referral tell your PCP to give you one.....I am lucky and my plastic surgeons office knew what was needed and got my approval in like 3 days or something crazy like that.......Good Luck Jesi

Hi Lorraine, I have a treadmill, a gazelle, a weight set and a stationary bike. I use the bike the most, as that has the least stress on my back. I never learned how to ride a regular bike and I'm too old and brittle now to start. Diana is going to Danville for treatment 4 of 6 of Cytoxin, her chemo. She's walking pretty good now. She is learning how to walk backwards. She is still a bit shakey and probably always will be. But she's a plucky kid and keeps trying. I am so very proud of her and her effort. Thanks for asking. Hi everyone, I have a question for those out there who've had reconstructive. Did any of you have BC/BS? My PCP thinks I am a candidate for approval, because the skin hanging on my tummy and arms hurts my back and shoulders so much I'm on Vicodin all the time and taking cortisone shots for pain. I can't exercise any more because of it. I can only walk with a girdle and you can't wear one working out because I chafe so much it'll bleed. So she is sending me to a reconstructive surgeon next month for a consult. I have BC/BS and was wondering if anyone else had, and what they had to do for approval, or if they were denied. Hello Lorraine Sunday is my back to work day. I work 12 hour shifts 7p-7a on Sunday and Monday nights. So today I try to get all my laundry done, grocery shopping and housework done.....and catch a nap too if there is time. I am so happy that spring is here. The kids and I have been walking alot and just being outside. My DD will be 5 in a few weeks and we are redecorating her room so I am keeping busy with that and my upcoming BL on June 1st!!!!
