No not who can do Jerry Lewis!!! I have been a big watcher of you all. We are failing to chat it up. So I will ask a question of all of you, perhaps some of you can chime in. I am holding steady in the 220's. I was down to 190's...too frail. Anyway I think I am going to make a move towards plastic surgery. Let's say I drop 10 pounds from it I would be about the same and would fit into a 30-32 inch waist. I only have skin on my belly so any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks and let's have it. Mark

Hi there Mark, How are you? I am holding steading at my weight loss of -110 pds. I weigh between 135-145lbs at my high.. I will have a LBL for the loose skin on my tummy next year. Now I must concentrate on getting it together between the divorce I filed and moving with my boyfriend. I really have not gained more than about 5 pounds. I feel it right away and just get on that bike and ride it off. I worked so hard to get it off , I can't let it creep up on me again. I am off all diabetic medicines and other medications so I try to behave. It's not easy. This is something I will struggle with all my life. "FOOD DEMONS" are always with me. Take care and I hope you make the right decision on your PS Lorraine

Hey Mark, I think I'm in the same boat....I have a lot of "extra skin" in my abdomen and thighs.....skin I like to get removed but unless I can get insurance to pay, I doubt I can it done anytime soon. To briefly recap my weight loss: I started at 228 (12/14/03), Lap RNY surgery 12/15/03, at 134 (goal) by 7/03. Continued to lose and 1 year post op(12/04) was at a scary 114#. 1/05 gained to 118. 3/05 until now 4/06 have maintained at 120#. Besides the "food demons" does anyone fear any late post op complications? luvitsunnyv

Thanks for the feed back. Anyone else? I did not even think about insurance paying for it. I will have to check into that. Has anyone besides Jesi had it done? What did it cost if you are comfortable telling us. Again it was great to hear from you 2 ladies. mark

Besides me What I don't count I know there are a couple others.....but haven't seen them around. There is a plastic surgery forum on here.....they don't ask you any personal questions...but when you post a question....you get A LOT of answers! There is also a Men's forum.....and I know a major contributor of that board DX is going thru the plastic ropes right now!!! My insurnace paid for mine, which absolutely floored me (kinda poopy insurance I thought) But I started by just calling around and setting up consults.....most consults I found were free.....and one of my first questions at the consults where if they had any luck with my insurance. When I personally called my insurance, they said "no we don't cover plastic surgery" and that is about as far I got with them..........but I figured I would at least see how much I was looking at, you know to start saving. The PS is the one that told me my insurance does in fact cover it.....the paid for a breast reduction in Jan also From my EOB they both seemed to be right around 8K if I remember correctly.....I could look into it closer if you want me too Also there are a lot of places out there that finance PS, like Capital One.....I had thought about looking into them......I also had thought about borrowing against my 401K since you just repay yourself, and we are FAR from retiring. And wow a 30-32 inch waist is TINY! I had 6lbs of skin removed.....so depending on your panni, it could be ten pounds or more (I haven't seen ya naked ) Best of luck! And check out those other two boards....you might find some great advice. I have pics too if you wanna look at them....just let me know! Take Care jesi

Hi Mark, I don't stop in very often but just happend to today. I had my tummy tuck done in March 2005. He removed just over 6 lbs. I have pictures of the slab laying on a scale they use to weigh a baby so we refer to it as our 4th baby. As far as costs go, my insrance didn't cover it so it cost around $6,500. That included 1 night in the hospital but it was a special deal my surgeon has with the local hospital. My overnight stay cost me just $173, well worth the money. I am a scrapbooker, so of course made an album of my plastic surgeries (second phase was the backside.) You can see my albums by clicking on the WWW below. Warning, some of the pictures are a bit graphic, but they do give you an idea of what happens during surgery. By the way, I ran into my plastic surgeon on Tuesday & I told him that I love my my tummy & it was still my new favorite toy. Love to rub that flat belly (& so does my hubbie.) Dixie

Yeah I am glad you are feeling better!! Stupid question...how did they get it bigger? Is that what the endoscopy was? Or was that just a picture of it? Just curious. Dawnya
