Yep, that's me. For the first time in over a year I can say that during a rain storm. Being on this med is helping not only the RLS, but the FM, too. We still have some adjustments to make, but it is working. The pain levels are going down, my sleep is improving and the RLS symptoms are reducing as well. Hope everyone else is doing well. Steve, how's the new apartment? Lorraine, how's the new guy? Sunny, how's the tummy now? Jesi, how are you doing? Allison, how are you doing now? Everyone else, please stop and say hello. Nona

Hi Nona I am happy that the nedication is helping a little. My new apartment is ok but living alone is not what it is cracked up to be.Too much time to think and the quiet is awful.Other than that I am doing good and thank you for asking.I hope you have a wondeful day..........steve

Now that the weather is improving, don't stay in the apt. alone. Get out and enjoy the weather. Take a walk. Go to a movie or a book store. Sit in a cafe, have a coffee and watch the antics of the folks going up and down the street. Go bowling, or shoot some pool. Take up a hobby. Do something different, like sky diving...... Well, maybe not that. But you get my drift. Nona

Good Morning Nona Funny you should mention sky-diving.I am looking into that and there is a airstrip about 13 miles from me that offers a 1 week class and 2 jumps this spring.I really want to do it and I just might. It is on my list of things I want to do now that I wont need a tank parachute.I am also thinking about buying a bike, there are a lot of mountians roads around me and I see them out there all the time and I have always wanted to ride.Nona I live in a small town of 9876 people and it is very quiet here and if you blink while driving through you will miss this town.I hope you have a wonderful day.............steve

Wow. Sky diving. Gutsy guy. I love to fly, but I could never had the courage to jump out. Hats off to you!! I live in a very small villiage, population approx. 500, counting the cats and dogs. But I love it. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Keep taking charge of your life. Live it to the fullest. Enjoy every moment for the sheer joy of it. Smile at everyone. They will smile back. It know. It works. I do it, too. Nona

Nona, Hi there girl! I am so glad your medications are working. I did not answer your last post because I really don't know anyone with FM to help you. I do sufffer from RLS. I have a neice who does also. She takes medications and I don't. I was on so much medications for so long that if it really does not bother me I won't take medications. I take Syntroid and Zetia. I also take vitamins. I feel great. Thanks for asking about my new guy.He and I are together now 16 months. I will be moving in with him around my 2 year anniversary which will be in November. I think I am ready. I have been paying all my bills up and cracking those horrible charge cards up so I can move in with a clear mind. We have come so far and now I am learning to let myself be loved. I think I deserve it. Before I was finding faults with him, because I had a fear of committment. He has changed for the good and so have I. I guess we needed that time. I do love him and this weekend we are going up to homes in Vermont. I hope I don't freeze. Thanks for asking. Hi there Steve Hi everyone!!!!!!!!!!! Lorraine ((((((((HUGS)))))))) &

Steve, You have a great day also. You are a true inspiration to me. Your weight loss is amazing. Please everyone say a prayer for my neice who will have Gastric Bypass today. She suffers from Grand Mall Seizures besides all the other complications of Obesity. She is 34 yrs old and is Morbidly Obese, being 5ft1 and over 300 lbs. She will be on my mind all day. She is my sisters first born. I love her dearly. to all Lorraine

Hi Lorraine, IT sounds like you are on your way to some real happiness. I am very glad for you. I couldn't go without meds for RLS. I couldn't sleep or sit to work. I was a mess. I'm taking Neurontin, 800mg and doing great now. I sleep all night, nice and deep sleep and wake refreshed. I feel really good. Nona

Nona, I am glad you are OK. I used to take Neurontin for the Diabetic Neuropathy I had. I found it had me in LA LA land, but it did take away the pain in my feet. I am glad you are and waking up refreshed. This is my weekend off and me and my boyfriend are headed up to Vermont to 2 cabins, summer homes that he has. I have put off not going for the longest, due to the out house he says he says he has there. I like a bathroom. He also says there is no running water. He says if I don't like it he will take me to a hotel. There is a wood burning stover there also. I hope to enjoy it. Have a great weekend. Yes things are going much better with our relationship. It just took so much time, and I tend to be kind of inpatient at my age. Lorraine
