HI Guys, got some wierd things going on and was wondering if you all could send some input. Until recently, I could eat just about anything, in moderation. I could eat, in quantity. a full Lean Cuisine meal and a small salad or a half an apple. Now, for some reason, I can't tolerate sugar, even in smaller quantities, nor any grease at all. and I can't finish a Lean Cuisine. Plus I have, what I think is, heartburn. I am taking Mylanta, but still have that odd sensation. Anyone else have this or do y'all think I should call my doctor? My surgeon isn't around any more and there are none who will take on one this far out, so all I have is my PCP. I'd appreciate any input in this. Thanks in advance. Nona

Nona, Hi there I know this may sound crazy,,,, but are you constipated? This may give you that full feeling. I think if you have no pain when eating, to me, this would be a good thing. I can't eat too much sugar either. I really can't eat much of chinese food or fried foods. to this surgery. It does stop me and I try to eat healthy. I would definetly consult your Dr about your heartburn. When I get full faster its just a reminder my Little Biity Stomach is still there and everything is OK with my WLS. I am not a Dr but I hope I have helped you. Have a great Monday Lorraine ((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))) to you and everyone here *****ads this. By the way WHERE IS EVERYONE? Come out,Come out wherever you guys are, and say HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

No, I'm very regular, since I've been on Zelnorm. I got in touch with my PCP and she wants me to take Prilosec OTC for two weeks and see. If no improvement, then something stronger. I have some at home, so I will start today. I don't mind the restrictions, not at all, but I don't like the burning, gas pain feeling. I'm a bit scared of another ulcer, especially now after the surgery. That is something I don't need. I had them before. I wonder if the Vicodin has something to do with it? Nona

Do you have your gall bladder? The reason I ask, I just had mine out and I seem to be able to eat a little more. Before, I couldn't tolerate ANY fried foods and anything cooked in grease would literally "put me away" in the bathroom for a LOOOOOOOOng time. Hope you find some answers.... luvitsunnyv

Nope, no gall bladder, just heart burn in the esophogus. (sp?) An ulcer, or the beginnings of one, is what my dr thinks it is, especially since I had them before surgery. So, it's back on the Prilosec and no more Vitamin C. Lots of water, low acid and keep a little food in the pouch at all times. Don't be hungry, she says. No problem as I do love to eat. I keep veggie chips and triscuits handy for a quick munch, and some venison kilbose, too. Yummy. Just wish the pain would go away. It scares me. Nona

Hey Nona. I am surely sorry to hear of your troubles....I only have four words. Go to the doctor. Tracy has had similar problems and it turned out to be a blockage. I hope you get well very rapidly. Mark
