I've put if off long enough.....I scheduled to get my gall bladder out for February 10. Unfortunately, my WLS surgeon is no longer on my insurance but he recommended another surgeon (who is also a bariatric surgeon) that will do my GB laproscopically. It's gotta happen, I know....I just don't look forward to it at all. luvitsunnyv

Sunny, How are you? I know you have talked about doing this surgery, so I am glad you are going to take care of it. I am glad you are having it done laproscopically. They will probably go into the same holes. My daughter had it done and she was home the next day. Let me know when you have it done. You know my prayers are with you. Peace and Love Lorraine

I was in and out same day, and back to work a few days later. It was a very easy procedure. I had mine, LAP, too by the same surgeon who later did my RnY. Once it is out, you will only wish you had done it sooner. Enjoy not being sick any more. Nona

Sorry to hear your having surgery, but hope it helps ya One quick question for ya.....Did you take URSO or rock salts or anything like that after surgery to help ward off stones?? I took them for 6ish months or so and haven't had any GB issues as of yet......but I am getting sick and a lot of pain in my abdomen area again and am going to the GI doc on the 3rd We will see I guess! How did you find out your GB was bad, or going bad?? Do you have visable stones? Again, good luck! Take Care jesi
