Hard time
Hi everyone - I haven't posted for awhile but just thought I would catch up.
I only lost 102 lbs total since my surgery and I have regained 15 in the last 3 mths. No matter what I do I can not get them off...I started a new job where I don't get to move around too much about 4 mths ago and I think that is part of the problem - no movement.
Any advice would be grateful.
I understand where you are coming from. I am 2 years post. And I have only lost a grand total of 100 lbs. I have gain aobut 20 pound in the last 6 months. In many cases, I feel that I have lost my way..I too do not move around lot at work, and when I get home, I don't feel like moving either. I am hoping that the new year will help me get a fresh start, in getting back in control. We can do this. Pull out off the books we have been given and start to the beginning again. Good luck, I hope this helps
I'm in the same boat. I've only lost about 100lbs, including my plastic surgery, when you count the 12lbs I've regained. I was down to 191 at my lowest and am now 198.5. What I do is try to move as much as I can, use the stairs, park far away and walk fast to and from the car, exercise on the weekends. Watch my carbs. Eat lots of veggies and drink some shakes. It does help.

Hi Chris
A little tough love here, you and only YOU, are responsible for where you are in your journey. It is very hard to find the time away from work to do your exercise. Trust me when I say this because I feel your pain.....I have lost 180 pounds total. All of it came off the first 12 months. I have been at 270 now for the last 12 months. Plastics will remove about 10 pounds of skin but I'm ok with where I'm at because I am healthier now then I have ever been.
Chris you have to make the time to exercise... walk around your block at home a few times before you go into the house. Find ways to do little exercises at your desk. Keep a journal and be honest with yourself about what you eat in a day, because the bottom line is this ....calories in that are not exercised off will be weight added. Love yourself, be truthful to yourself and be accountable to yourself. You are successful in your weight loss; now let's get you successful in maintaining the weight loss.

hello I just want to say this is a journey and even though you say only 100 #'s that is GREAT!!! Keep your head up and reevaluate what your eating, remember this is a tool! When was your surgery? feel free to email me @ [email protected] Keep up the fight!
Chris
I wanted you to know that you are not alone I got down to 170 and I am back to 200. I hate every minute of the weight gain. I am menopausal and took added stress on at work. Plus I had foot surgery and can't exercise. Most importantly I am NOT doing the program. I am not doing vitamins. I can't seem to get with it. I have not been back to my surgeon either. If you get advice I need it too.
My surgeon also assured me that this weight gain is normal. He said that we can lose the regain but we are now like all the other billion people who have to WORK....have you cconsidered weigh****chers or even keeping track on fit day. It is shocking how fast those calories add up. I know one of the things they assured us about in the meetings is we still have this tool to use. It seems alot of the long term folks drink quite a few protein shakes. I am trying to add that back in.
Just my input
