To Everyone!
Happy Anniversary
Wow.....time sure goes by fast! We have all been thru so much! And even tho some of us are up a few pounds We should be proud of what we have done It takes a lot of strenght to go thru this surgery......it isn't a walk in the park. I am actually finding that it gets harder. I am hoping that is not the case for long tho!!!! We should all take a few moments to post an update......Tell us how everything is going and maybe were we hope to be in the next two years?? Again *happy anniversary* to everyone!!! Take Care (((((HUGS))))) Jesi
Hi Jesi,
You asked me what I did to get the few pounds off. Well, I just started exercising again, and dropped the sugar, other than some dark chocolate at lunch. That was it. It felt so good to get on the 'mill again, and work out until I was dripping with sweat. It's the only time I don't mind getting all breathless and sweaty. Well, one of the two times, but we won't go there.
Hope your day is full of sunshine and smiles.

Hi there Jesi, How are you? I hope you are great. I am up about 5 pds. I go anywhere from 135-140lbs. At 5ft6 I am still tall and slender. I try to make good food choices, but the "FOOD DEMOMS" are there by my side. I know it took lots of strength to go through with what we decided. It does get harder and all boils down to behavior modification.
My update is...........
I had Vein Ligation surgery yesterday. I had it done about 18 yrs ago. Once I lost all the weight those darn things surfaced to the top and were killling me. I am and trying to get well. I will be out until after the New Year.
Otherwise I am OK.
What are your holiday plans everyone?
Lorraine
I will have my two year anniversary 12-15. I'm still below goal but stable between 118-120 pounds. Sometimes I think I'm "working at NOT losing" instead of how I used to "work to lose".
By the end of this year I hope to have my RN ( my quest for a second career) and by the end of two years I hope to have my BSN. And, of course, I hope I'm as healthy as I am today!
