Hi there guys! How is everyone doing? I left last Wednesday for Florida. I got off in West Palm Beach. I must say the flight was great. I flew with Jet Blue out of JFK in New York. I had tears in my eyes when I got in my seat. The one thing I could do was "FIT IN THE PLANE SEAT". I didn't have to sit right on top of someone. The seat belt fit with plenty of room and I could cross my legs and relax. It was wonderful . I got up to go to the ladies room and did not have my big butt in anyones face trying to get through. I know this sounds a bit crazy, but it's just one more thing most people can do all the time, and it was one thing that was a bit deal for me. I relaxed in the sun and truly enjoyed myself. I met some nice people also. Does anyone want to share some vacations plans with us. Come on guys.... Tell me about your vacation this summer. Lorraine

It seemed so lonely around here without you and Nona! I am happy you had fun and I am glad you are back. That cruise I went on is the first vacation I have had in years, since my twins were 2 and they are going to be 17 on Saturday. But I often think about what I wouldn't be doing if not for this surgery. I took the steps every time from deck 4 to 10. I could NEVER have done that before. As it was, I was out of breath, but still breathing I also flew down to Tampa. It was the first time on a plane so I was scared, it hurt my ears, but I fit in the seat. My brother just moved from Tampa back to Ohio. He is a PA and he got a job at the University of Findlay. He still has a job in Flordia on the weekends, so he has to fly back and forth. Ugh! Findlay is 2.5 hours away from me, but this is my fun brother and sister-in-law and I am so happy that they are in driving distance of my house. I am hoping I can see him more often. Seeing him is like having a mini-vacation because you laugh so much. Tell us more about your trip! Did you swim? Snorkel? Did you see Disney or Medievil Times? (that was the first time I ever saw the ocean too!) Allison

Hi there Allison, I had a real relaxing time. I did not go to Disney or to the Medieval Times. I did that when my kids were young. Wasn't the Medieval Times the best? I loved it. I am an avid swimmer. I did have issues with the bathing suit and my loose thighs.I felt like but it was too hot to do that. I did not snorkel, though I do enjoy that also. I just layed in the sun, dined out with my girlfriend and we talked alot. I needed time to think things over with the relationship that I was in. It really does not seem to be working. He is sweet and nice, but not really for me. He makes no initiative moves toward me and I need some of that & I am used to that and he totally lacks that part. I think that is his upbringing. Oh well. I also enjoyed ther Dollar Stores. I thought NY had great ones, but these were great. I was not so happy to come back to NY. Tomorrow is BACK TO WORK. I was happy to hear about your trip also. Take care....Lorraine
