360 Tummy tuck

Okay hello all. Sorry I dont post much I still check in and read . Well I did it I had the 360 lower body lift tummy and butt.... MAN O MAN this is the worst thing I have ever gone through.... I would have my gastric bypass everyday compared to this... I am so sore and swollen... Very Swollen... Dont get me wrong I am loving the results. but had no idea it would be this ruff.... Okay well I had surgery on 6/27 I was under for about 5 hours. right and GUESS WHAT HOLD YOUR HATS.... 19lbs of skin gone.. 12 from the front and 7 from the back... Can you believe it... I was shocked . Even in the office we talked about 12/13 tops/.. He didnt even have to do lipo cuz I was all skin how gross..... Well its over but Man I am whooped. from this one. The best part is our local news station NBC 10 medical reporter is following me through our plastic surgery journey... It will not air sometime I thin****il the fall..... So If any of you have any tips on soreness or swelling let a girl know... talk to you all soon... katie

Katie, I am happy you are OK. I have a friend who just had the LBL and she too says the pain was terrible,much worse than the Gastric Bypass. I think she did it around the same time as you. Hi Katie Congratulations on your LBL. What an amazing amout to lose. My LBL was 3-22 and my PS said that he took about 2 lbs. My pain was very minimal but I bet it has alot to do with how much comes off. At 3.5 months out my results are fantastic. I don't have any swelling and my incision looks great. Hi Katie I am so happy for you.I know you are in pain but it is the final step on your journey.I look at all my scars as battle wounds,because we are fighting a war and our lives are at stake.Anyone who say's this is the easy way out let them try it,we all know there is nothing easy about weight loss surgery.So continue to heal Katie and soon you will the person you want to be...........steve
