Now to maintain and live a good healthy lifestyle . Anyway guys I can't believe that all this time has past. Can we get an update for 18 mnths from you guys? How was your 18 month journey? It's been, on a whole, good. I'm not happy with my weight, but at least I'm smaller than I was. I was wearing 28-30's and now wear 14-16. My general health is good, and I can do so much more. I did get a big disappointment at the surgeon. He doesn't think my insurance will cover anything, and it'll be 20 grand if I self pay, so that is definitely not going to happen. My weight is still up. I just can't seem to get on track and get it down. It feels like I'm hungry all the time. Maybe I need something else in my diet? Any ideas: Nona

Nona, Hi there. You also have done wonderful. Try some more water. It works for me. I also have been making Jello sugar free pudding in the evenings so I won't eat those crunchies. Good Luck and Lorraine

Glad to here your check up went well! You look WONDERFUL!!!! Keep up the good work and I know what you mean about those crunches....oh I do so love crackers, pretzels and those chips! I don't have a 18 month check up only my 2 year in December. I am counting down the days till my TT in August! I am excited to see how I will look and if it will make a difference in my size of clothes. I started out in a 26 pant and 3x shirts. I am now in a size 3 pant and XS shirts....its so amazing but I am very blessed! Hope you have a wonderful summer and I bet you look like a hottie in those shorts this summer!!!!! Luv, Karie

I just replied to Dixie that I cannot believe it has been 18 months....that is crazy!!!! I went from almost 300lbs to 159......I am hoping to lose 13 more but these last few are a killer......I went from 26-28 and 3-4 x to now in 8-10s for pants and xlarge tops.....I am done with my plastic surgery consult and was approved for a panni......going back again and seeing what can be done about the chest....then I will set a date for plastic surgery! I still struggle daily with my urge to snack and I am sure I will for the rest of my life.....I am just greatful to be healthy and happy and so much more active......I don't go back to my surgeon until 2 years post-op!!! Glad to hear you and everyone else are doing good.....Keep it up and take care Jesi

I have my 18 month checkup on June 23. My 18 month update: Presurgery weight was 226, size 20/1x Reached goal of 134# in six months. Lowest weight: 114# in December 2004. Current weight: 118-120, size 0/2's. I feel the first two months were the hardest. It was a little scary to see the weight continue to drop, because 114 for my 5'5" frame made me look anorexic. The year and a half has gone by fast for me. I certainly have no regrets. I take no prescription medications any longer and physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.....all is well. I'm always grateful to you guys for your support. Ruthanna
