Here's a new one...
Ok. First, I've been eating badly while my friends were in. My weight is up, way up. But I am working to get it down. A 7lbs gain is not good and I want to stop it before it gets out of control. That said, here's the new one...anyone ever break a tooth, since surgery and swallow it? Will it hurt the pouch since it's sharp? Yes, I know, Nona did an airhead thing again. Lord, sometimes I wonder about me. I have a good job with lots of responsibility, manage my home, yet I do some very stupid things.

Nona, Hi there Remember, we are human. Don't worry about the 7lbs.You said you are working on it to get it down, so you at least are aware.I don't know about swallowing your tooth and what will happen. I don't think you need to worry.

P.S. Wish me luck.... My 18 month checkup is tomorrow. I have the blood results and all looks good. My cholesterol is a bit high. The rest is fine.
Hi Lorraine and Allison,
I know what you mean about not losing any more, Allison. I haven't lost since August of last year. I need so badly to lose 50 more lbs, but it ain't happening. I've tried everything, but nothing works. So I guess I'm stuck here. Now with the gain, it makes me feel even worse.
Lorraine, my PCP tells me that cholesterol is up because we eat a high protein diet. Just eats lots of fiber, she says, and that kind of balances it out.
I've had no repercussions from the tooth piece, so it must have passed with no problems.
Went for a consult for reconstructive. Doesn't look like the insurance will cover any of it, and it's $20,000.00 if I self pay, so that's out. I am feeling so down. I had three glasses of wine last night and now have a bit of a hangover. I didn't get home until 7 and didn't make my meeting. Should have went late instead of drinking the wine.
