A Constant Problem

Hi there too all my buddies here on this Message Board Here is a dilemma that constantly plagues me. I am wondering do you guys suffer this same problem. I know this is not a subject that everyone cares to discuss but...................Do you guys have any problem with constipation as much as I do? If I take nothing at all I cannot go. I now have resorted to taking a daily dosage of Milk of Magnesia. That is the only thing that works for me. I had this problem before my WLS, and now it seems to be worse.I work in a hospital with the sick and mostly with the elderly and now I feel like them. Alot of them obsess about going every day. What have I become? An Old cranky constipated lady? :help Any suggestions besides putting a bomb up there? I would love to hear from you guys also. ... Lorraine

Boy, can I sympathize. I tried everything even combos. Nothing worked. Now, I go every day. Zelnorm, 6mgs and 4 magnesium citrate tabs in the am, and in 3 hrs, I go. Sometimes twice. I don't go otherwise. Ask your dr about Zelnorm. Nona

I've been really lucky...I'm a daily pooper. I do know plenty of people who have problems after surgery though. I hope you get some relief soon!
