I was just woundering if any one has considered taking diet pills to help lose those last pounds?? I used to take a diet pill called phendimetrazine. I was thinking of taken them to help me out, I seem to have hit a plateau.. But I am concerned if this pill or any pill is safe to take?? I know I need to step up my daily excersize a bit but it was just a thought

I'd love some info on that, too. My weight is the same for nearly a year and I know it's because I eat too much and don't exercise enough. ON a side point, my daughter walked her first steps without a walker on Friday. AND, she bent over and stood up without falling. I cried so hard with joy to see my 'baby' walking. (she's 29 and has SLE). We're hopeful that within 6 months, if she has no more setbacks, that she'll be able to walk around the house without a walker. Isn't that wonderful news? Just wanted to share that with everyone. Nona

Hi there Julie, How are you. I know the plateau can be very frustrating. Me personally would not take them. The reason is.. I was such a bad diabetic prior to my WLS,taking 18 pills and insulin that I would not do it.I am glad just not taking all that medication. I find it hard enough to take these vitamins. I need also to up my exercise. I must find time for myself. I tend to not take care of that part. Consult with your Dr. and see what he says. You did not say how much you have lost, or how much more you would like to lose. Get back to ... Lorraine RNY 12/15/03..245LBS AT PRESENT....132LBS "AT GOAL" and trying to maintain if I can
