Hello Everyone Well....I did it!! I am 6 days post LBL and doing much better than I had imagined. My PS is just amazing and my new belly is going to be fantastic once the swelling has gone down. The pain is not too bad. I just stay on top of it with pain meds. The hardest part is finding a comfortable place to lay down. My drians come out on the 1st and stitches on the 8th. I am having a hard time eating as I am so tight that I feel full on very little, then miserable for a bit. Also taking MOM as the pain meds cause me to be constipated. Anyone else have PS scheduled soon? My best advice...find the best PS that you can and one that you believe in 100%. Time for a nap Kimberly

Congrats on the plastics. I soon will be where your at. I'm scheduled for May 25 and i'm so excited. What all did you have done? And how are the drains? I'm dreading to deal with that. Also do you have any small children? I'm asking because i have some and want to know how they are dealing with it, if you have any? Thanks, and good luck. Have you taken any pics? I'd love to see if you are willing to share. Sommer

Hi Sommer Congratulations on your upcoming PS!!! It really is the "iceing on the cake" so to speak Last Tuesday I had a lower body lift. I am cut low in the front just like a regular tummy tuck then all the way around my back side. My abdominal muscels were stitched together, the mons area was lifted and I got a full outer hip, thigh and butt lift. My belly is still swollen but my butt looks fantastic and DH thinks the mons lift alone was worth the $$$$$ I have two drains located at the top on my pubic area. They do not hurt at all, I just have to be careful with them as I am afraid of pulling on them. I have very little drainage and empty them (about 20cc) twice a day. They will be taken out on Friday 4-1. On June 1st I will be getting a breast lift with silicone implants. Can't wait for the new boobies too We have 4 kidos. 17, 12, 4 and 2. I was really worried about my little guy as he is a Momma's Boy and likes to be picked up and held. My surgery was outpatient, but in Bellevue which is 3.5 hours away so DH and I stayed with his sister in Seattle for the 1st 3 days. I missed my kids soo much, but I was kind-of out of it those first few days that it would not have mattered if I were here or not. When we got home i showed my 4 and 2 year old my belly and let them know that Mommy had an owie and they had to be very careful not to jump or climb on me. When Carson, my 2 year old, asked to be held I sit down and have him climb up next to me or I tell him that I will hold his hand if he wants to go somewhere. So far it has worked out well. My 4 year old daughter is very much a girly-girl and goes out of her way to pick things up for me or get me something. I have taken before and after pics. I will have to see if DH will help me get them loaded. *I am very computer/electronics challenged* If I can get them on I would be happy to share them with you. All the best of luck to you. You will do well and be sooo happy when it is all over~Kimberly

Hi Kimberly. It sounds like you are doing very well. Congratulations!! You must be feeling much better getting the drains out today. Are you still taking pain meds? My LBL is scheduled for bright and early Monday morning. I am very excited!! Any tips for me? I am trying to get my house and work in order before I take 3-4 weeks off to recuperate. Well, take care of yourself. Rest is the best medicine.
